I really would be so happy if the time went by slower ingame!
And some of the actions in The Sims 4 just take so ridiculously long -.-
Often before they even start doing something.
For example: When I tell them to call and mount their horses at 8am they are ready to go by noon omg.
And in the meantime some of the horses get tired, the rider dismounts and the horse sleeps and we have to start all over again 😭

This is one of my biggest complaints about Sims 4. The day goes way too fast!
In Sims 3, I used the Relativity mod, which worked beautifully. I was able to set the time speed to something I liked, and it made the game way more fun for me. I've tried using the clock speed thing in MCCC, but it wasn't quite as good as Relativity was (some things got mismatched from the times they should start or end, and my calendar kept getting messed up) and eventually I ditched it. Maybe I was using it wrong, but I think Sims 4 was designed differently in how its in-game clock works.
I really wish the game was just built with the ability to set the passage of time speed however we like it without using mods. I want a longer day for a more leisurely pace, and more time in-game to spend on details of the story. I already play with aging off, which is great for the long term stuff. But I want more time within each day so that the day feels more like a real day. @Lenny_Ogg makes a really good example about how much of the day is wasted just trying to mount the horses to go somewhere. It's not about how fast the sims are aging. It's about having more time in each day to actually have sims do a series of activities that real people would be able to fit all into one day, and more time for detailed storytelling about what happens that day.
@friendlysimmers aging is always off. But that does not help imo. Just like @LeGardePourpre said. The days are too short to make it feel like a whole day. A day should have more actions than having breakfast and watering the plants ^^'
And what also would be great: to tell the Sims 'sleep until ...'
That was possible in Sims 3, we could let them sleep until 6am, if I remember correct.
I play with a household of 6 Sims (sometimes even 8) and it's such a hassle to get them through the night.
One of them is always awake and when I put them in bed again the next one wakes up!
Comments
Would much approve if we could have a Sim hour last a bit longer (without slowing down our Sims and their activities).
We want: Faeries, with a good ability tree, hopefully before summer 2024.
What do we want to get rid of: The holiday bug, the constant showering and the weed glitch.

I play with Aging:Off so my sims are not hurry to grow, age and die. I don't need a fast clock.
It's more about enjoying the moment.

In a restaurant my sims are hungry now so it should not take a whole day to feed them.
In the best world, all actions would take less than 15 SimMinutes.

My teens don't have enough time to socialize at the high school or prom.
