This thread starts with the Horse Ranch Adventures of our 'Underwater Love' story and continues here after they left Chestnut Ridge.



The Boys are broke and homeless since they got suspended from their boarding school.
And on the run.
(Morgan Fyres is determined to make Vlad hers Ö.ö')





The second year of 'Underwater Love' started a few days ago and the Boys dissolved most of the problems from the first year.
So this chapter should not be overly confusing for new readers. I'll explain if some threads lead to the episodes before.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Adriano (the llama) and the Boys (Saiwa, Vlad and Jack) reached Galloping Gulch in Chestnut Ridge.
They were a bit worried about how to transport Adriano, but it had been surprisingly easy since everyone and their empty horsetrailer is on their way to Chestnut Ridge to buy a horse ^^'

They asked the driver to drop them a bit away from the housings and waved him goodbye.
Who knows - maybe Morgan had paid someone here too to plaster New Appalosa with Vlad's wanted posters...

They checked the surroundings. What a stunning scenery!

And soaring vultures ö.Ö'

At least no one will find them out here, right?


Where are the others?
Ji Ho and Jeb went on a tour with Travis, the Roadie.

Ji Ho needs time to process the news that his only love Luci (who possessed Vlad's body from time to time, didn't exist (= long story short).
And Jeb, his best friend and fellow band member, accompanies him.

And Kiyoshi is their undercover mole in the Council (an organisation with the determination to supress and eventually wipe out supernatural 'creatures' like our boys).

It was already late after they returned from exploring the surroundings and they got hungry.
And since Sai and Vlad are afraid of fire (thanks to Jack, the Pyromaniac)...
Jack: "I can do this!"
Sai: "I doubt it, but we have no choice."

Jack to himself: "I can do this!"

They finally managed to get someting to eat. No one further got harmed. What a relief.

And after discussing for a while the happenings that lead them here, they fell asleep...

It seems it wants a fight with Adriano!?

There - much better. We've had enough trouble as it was...


And while Adriano, little goat and Vlad go for a walk...


...Saiwa and Jack are on their (hopefully shortest ) way to explore New Appaloosa and to see if it's safe to go there for Vlad.

Saiwa and Jack reached New Appaloosa and went to the grocery store first to buy supplies.
Jack is hungry like a wolf but Sai is checking the Appaloosian fashion.
Jack: "Can we have breakfast first?"


Saiwa: "No, we are looking for a job first. It won't be easy for dropouts/creatures like us anyway. It's good we are early!"
Sienna: "Uhm - did you say creatures? Martha is actually looking for farm hands and she insists they have to be creatures as it is. I'll give you her number."
This sounds too good to be true.


Martha - over the phone: "Oh! This sounds too good to be true! I'm having breakfast at the 'Oak Barrel' right now. Meet me there!"
Saiwa: "Ok!"
Jack: "Breakfast!"


Marissa: "We don't serve your kind here."
Martha: "I invited them, Marissa."
Marissa: "Oh, but they'll scare the guests away! And look how they are dressed! The last werewolf..."
Martha: "You know I can't be picky..."


Martha: "I'm looking for creatures for a reason. After a meteorite impact almost a year ago, our family farm - uhm - went invisible - and only creatures seem to be able to see it.
And unfortunately I can't even pay you - but if you sell the products of the farm, I can give you a good share of it. And you can live there for free."


Saiwa: "We can live there? For free? Is there, like, furniture and stuff? Beds? And a roof?"
Martha: "Oh, of course! It's a farm, you know? It's all a bit run down since no one was able to look after it for about a year but you could renovate and have it really nice there."


Martha: "Think about it and call me tomorrow. I've already found one guy to help me but it's far too much work for him alone.
I'll leave you now. Think about it. Hope to see you tomorrow."


And then they finally ordered their breakfast!
Saiwa is torn. They desperately need the money (they are broke since they bought/rescued Adriano) but this sounds so strange...


In the depths of his despair, Saiwa goes to extremes...
Saiwa: "What do you think of it?"
Jack: "Nompf nompf nompf."
Marissa: "Tch..."

They'll discuss it with Vlad when the are back...

Meanwhile in Oasis Springs. Where Jeb and Ji Ho hold a gig tonite at Station 66.

Ji Ho and Jeb are donning their stage outfits in the tourbus.
Travis: "Oh! You look faboulous!"


Travis, the Roadie organized school uniforms for them, almost like the ones Angus wears on stage! Epic!


And then it was time to enter the stage!

When Saiwa and Jack returned from their meeting with Martha and discussed it with Vlad, they agreed to accept her offer to work at the invisible farm.
They have no choice anyway. And as stunning as a night under the stars might me. They are craving for a bed.

They slept at a campsite in Tartosa for a while (after they got expelled from school) before they went to Chestnut Ridge.
There they also rescued Adriano, the llama.

A misty morning rose and they left Galloping Gulch.

After a long walk they reached Martha's cottage.
She invited them in for a late breakfast and told them - again - the unbelievable story that her family farm went invisible after a meteorite impact almost a year ago...


And again she told them about this guy she already found to work there and who told her that only supernaturals can see the farm...


They soon came to an agreement over the conditions (to receive a good share of everything they sell) and eventually went outside to fetch the goats before they go over to the farm.
Martha: "Such nice and obedient little goats! They were the only animals I could rescue from the farm. No trace of the horses, though. Not even this guy could find out where they went."


Martha: "Ok little ones, let's go back to your old home with these nice boys who will care for you there! ... OUCH!"


Martha: "Uhm ... *nervous laughter* ...they usually don't do things like this..."


Jack (who is a werewolf and can smell a lie) whispers: "I think they do! We should leave!"


But Vlad and Sai won't listen. A bed and a roof over the head are worth dealing with bratty goats. And so they leave for the invisible farm...
Martha luckily just picked three goats for the time being.
(The same three goats who watched them in their first night in Chestnut Ridge!)


Martha: "The farm is right over there!"
But even though Saiwa, Jack and Vlad are supernaturals, they can't see the farm...


Jack, mumbling: "I don't see anything!" The others shake their head, agreeing.
Jack: "So - is she fooling us or did she get fooled by that guy?"

Saiwa: "Uhm yes. But are you sure this guy didn't fool you?"
Jack: "I informed you thusly! I said we should leave!"


Martha tried to call this guy who told her only supernaturals can see the farm...
Martha: "Conny isn't answering his phone... he was so kind and seemed trustworthy..."


Saiwa: "What kind of a person is he to betray desperate people! I'm sorry he tricked you and we can't help you. We leave you now and I hope you'll find your farm again."
Jack: "Uhm guys..."
Martha: "Thank you for offering me your help, good luck and good bye…" *sniffs*


Jack: "Guys!"
Saiwa: "Yes, you informed us thusly and we are already leaving! What else?"
Jack: "Guys..."
And there it was. The farm. Appearing out of the mist.


Saiwa: "..."
Martha: "What? Can you see it now? I almost doubted you hahaha. I told you Conny is trustworthy! Oh, I'm so happy!"


Martha: "Since I can't see it I suggest you start to explore by yourself and I try to contact Conny and tell him to come over as soon as he can. He told me he already made the kitchen and a bedroom habitable and that there is food. So you should be covered up until he arrives. See you soon (or not, at the invisible farm )!
I hope the furniture are to your liking!"
Saiwa: "As long as there is a bed, we're more than happy!"


And then it was time to explore their 'new' home!

The goats showed them around the farm.
It seems each goat is attached to one of the Boys. How cute!

Saiwa: "I expected worse, it's quite cozy."

Vlad: "And there's everything we need. It could have been far worse."

Jack: "This Conny guy did an amazing job here. I already love him!"

There are two rooms habitable.
Kitchen, Dining and Living in one room and the beds in the other room.

A roof and a bed was all they asked for and they got so much more.
It will work out and they can renovate whenever they have money left.
Jeb and Ji Ho had already sent them a few hundred Simoleons from their tour pay.
This must do until they can eventually sell some goods from the farm.

Oh, this must be this Conny guy! He seems to have a little goat too.

Half an hour before:
Martha invited them to the local country bar this evening to meet the locals ^^'
But they are so tired and exhausted so they decided to take a shower and a little nap before.

Jack: "So - with whom am I going to share this soft, cozy bed... Saiwa, who is like a brother to me or Vlad, my best friend...?"


Saiwa: "Your bed is over there. And you can share it with Little Goat."
Jack: "Tch."


Jack: "Ouch! My head! Argh!"
(It seems the goats are planning a little party when the Boys are at the bar tonight )
Jack: "Ouch! My head! This bed is a menace!"


Half an hour later, Conny entered the room.


Of course Jack's delicate werewolf ears heard Conny and he woke up.
Jack: "Kiyoshi?"


Kiyoshi: "I missed you too. Come here."
Jack: "Don't! They will wake up soon!"


Saiwa: "Kiyoshi!"

Jack: "But what are you doing here?"
Kiyoshi: "I work here. Dtui heard about Martha's misery and sent me here to find out what happened and how to make the farm visible again."
Saiwa: "Wait - are you this Conny guy then?"
Kiyoshi: "Uhm yes ^^' Martha had difficulties spelling and remembering 'Kiyoshi' so she went with 'Conny' haha."

Jack and Conny Kiyoshi still date in secret. So while Vlad and Sai are debating...
Jack, whispering: "Do you think they saw us?"
Kiyoshi, whispering too: "I don't know!"
(Haha and in the post above, Jack said, he already loves this Conny guy!)

The Country Bunker
Ji Ho and Jeb Blues are having a gig here tonight.
Travis received a strange playlist from the owner where he demanded they should start with 'Gimme Some Lovin'.
(linked MV is the original scene from the Blues Brothers which inspired me to this post )


'Well, my temperature's rising, and my feet on the floor

The crowd soon started to mumble and when the barkeeper said:



There was no holding back anymore and the first bottles flew against the chicken fence that divided the bar from the stage (for a reason...)
And that was when the Boys entered the bar. Saiwa had told them in advance that they should show their best behavior since they have to sell the goods from the farm to the locals...
Saiwa: "Hey Travis! Uhm - what's going on here?"


Travis: "Let me explain!"
Crowd: "Booooo!"
Travis: "Argh!"


And then it was over for Vlad and Saiwa and Ji Ho and Jeb stopped to play.


Saiwa told the loudest boo-er that she's going - beep beep beeeep - if she doesn't shut her mouth...


... and Vlad told the other- beep - that - beep - are done with him...
Saiwa: "Anyone else going to complain about the Band?"
*silence*


And then Ji Ho and Jeb played the second song from the list in peace. Which was 'Rawhide' (again MV is the original scene from the movie).

Vlad was so happy to see Ji Ho again. (How Saiwa looks at Vlad).


The others think Jeb and Ji Ho are so cool.

Jack: "Martha and Travis told me that there was an agreement about the first song. As it seems life here is so boring that the brawl at the bar is the highlight of the week... Ji Ho and Jeb agreed too."
"Oh..."
Jack: "Yeah. But the locals aren't resentful. They liked how we stood up for our friends and they think Saiwa is one the hottest Cowgirls they've ever seen hahaha." (Saiwa was a bit insecure about his outfit. As always when he has to face Jeb dressed like this. No matter how often he tells Sai how much he likes it.)

Saiwa and Jeb were dancing, happy to be together again.

Jack: "Hey Vlad, wanna dance too?"

And then the gig was over, Jeb and Ji Ho surrender to the hooting and Kiyoshi cleaned up what hadn't been smashed ^^'


And then Vlad overheard how that - CENSORED - from before declared out loud how hot he thinks Ji Ho from the Band was and that he's so going to hit on him...

And there it went - Vlad's plan to forget about Ji Ho... he stood up and went straight over (through the crowd, though) to Ji Ho.

And Vlad dragged Ji Ho over to the dancefloor.
Seeing Sai and Jeb and Vlad and Ji Ho together made Jack sent Kiyoshi a message to meet outside.

TMI: Today, exactly one year ago, this story started! (EDIT: that was when I posted this episode on tumblr on July, 30 2023)
And the locals told the Boys that today, exactly one year ago, the meteorite crashed down on Martha's farm...

The goats are really having a party tonight while the Boys are at the Country Bunker!


Their favourite song is 'Bouncy' from ATEEZ because one of their friends is starring in the MV


They started to decorate in the late afternoon while the Boys were busy with dressing up.

The Country Bunker closed and Travis, Ji Ho and Jeb agreed to end the tour here so Ji Ho and Jeb can help their friends at the farm.

Ji Ho hesitated: "Will it be ok for Vlad if I stay?"

In the first year of this story, Vlad and Ji Ho went down a bumpy road together - full of misunderstandings and problems. Vlad loved Ji Ho from the first moment he saw him but there were obstacles that kept them from being together. Which now are finally resolved. Ji Ho needed the tour and the distance to process the latest happenings.

Jack: "Nothing has changed for him. "
Saiwa: "And nothing ever will. You know how much he loves you."
Ji Ho: "I won't cause him any more pain, I promise."
Jack: "He will be fine."


Vlad: "Will it be ok for Ji Ho to stay near me?"
Jeb: "He changed a lot."
Vlad: "I don't want him to suffer any more."
Kiyoshi: "He will be fine."


And after this overly dramatic conversation, they went back to the farm to finally get some sleep.


Just to find the locals partying with the goats!


But eventually everyone went home.
Adriano: 'Phew - what a party!'


Jack: "Get a room!"
Saiwa: "We will!"


Sai waives his place in the bed to be alone with Jeb in one of the empty rooms.
Here, too, is a disassembled heart shaped bed -.-


As the next eldest Kiyoshi and Vlad sleep in the bed.


And Jack rather sleeps on his blanket on the ground than in that - beep - bunk bed again.

Jack didn't dream or I missed it. And Sai and Jeb had the same dream, aouw.

Today, 1st August (well it was when I posted the episode on tumblr where we usually celebrate the festivals in the wheel of the year live), is Lughnasadh. A festival marking the beginning of the harvest season.

Somehow the goats must be aware of this, because they wake Saiwa in the early dawn to demand their food...


Sai only had a few hours of sleep... how do they even know that he's the one responsible for everything?


Jeb, Ji Ho and Jack went out to the fields to cut the prairie grass for the goats.


Strangely they found a lot of other stuff while cutting the grass. Mushrooms and fruit, nectar bottles...


… and manure?


Meanwhile Kiyoshi, Vlad and Saiwa went to the gate to find out why the tour bus is standing there.


They found a message from Travis that the bus is a present for them!
And that the locals gifted them a few furniture (beds!) and food!
They really are not resentful after the incident at the Country Bunker - what a relief! They also seem to have enjoyed the goat party last night.


Saiwa: "How is this possible? All these things in the small van?"
Kiyoshi: "It seems to be bigger on the inside!"
Vlad: "Finally a ride where we all fit in! No more travelling in the loading area anymore!"

Lughnasadh - Part 2

Did you know that when you cut the prairies grass, you are very appealing to goats and horses?
They ran to them in a beeline when they had fininished cutting ^^'


Even Duke approached Jack. They've never met before.


Then Jack had to tidy up the party place...


Little Goat: "Hey! When are we having the next party?"


The others are preparing the meals for the festival.
Saiwa: "Everything ok out there?"
Vlad: "Uh - uhm. Yes!" ö.ö'


Saiwa: "That's a relief. I was a bit worried you could follow Jack's footsteps..."

Saiwa: "Don't worry everyone! Everything under control! Vlad said, everything's fine!"

Lughnasadh - Part 3

The Boys had not much for a proper Lughnasadh Festival. But it was more than enough. (Kiyoshi is a bit fed up because there was a fire - again...)


After dinner they went to the backyard.


To play a bit and have fun after a hard day's work at the farm.


These goats!


Ji Ho and Jack went swimming in the pond.


Poor ducks. Two predators in the pond. Hector, the crocodile and Jack, the werewolf... They just want to play!


Ji Ho is so happy they have a pond nearby (Hector too ^^')


In the evening Ji Ho played the guitar. A year ago, when they were camping in Henford-on-Bagley, Ji Ho was too shy to play in front of the others.


How they are all watching Ji Ho going to finally sit next to Vlad! ^^'
Their reactions! But right they are - it was about time!


They all changed a lot throughout this year. I'm so happy for them.

Soon there will be just the current episode posted here ^^' For me the goats are the perfect pets. Sims 4 Dogs and cats never excited me that much because they are so demanding ingame and we cant control them. The goats can be put whereever we want. That's perfect for story telling - and they are so cute

The second night at the invisible farm.
The view out of Vlad's window is so beautiful with the flowers and the fireflies.


Thanks to their generous neighbors, they finally all have beds again!

They are having a meeting this morning on how to proceed with the farm.

Saiwa: "Bring it in Jack!"

Kiyoshi demanded of him to get rid of it, but obviously he didn't obey...


Saiwa is collecting suggestions.
Saiwa: "Jack! Are you listening?"
Jack got distracted by that nectar barrel. Is it still drinkable after such a long time? (And Ji Ho goat wants Vlad's attention and the other way around, aouwww)


Jack: "Anyone wants to try?"
Ji Ho: "Sure."


The others think this nectar is amazing and they should try to make some at the ranch and sell it.
Saiwa is so happy that, for once, Jack came up with something useful and added it to the list.


So these are the results:


Saiwa: "Since Jeb is the only one of us with practical knowledge in home improvement, he and Jack - our strongest - will be responsible for this. Kiyoshi knows this farm and the animals best since he was here before us. He and Vlad will care for the goats..."
Vlad: "Why me?"
Saiwa: "Isn't it obvious?
And Ji Ho and I will try to grow something. I'm afraid we'll need Jeb there too. And Kiyoshi and Jeb for cooking. So Jack - your main job is to not be a nuisance for Jeb!"
