What I like most about Writer's Repose is the soft color palette on the inside
The living and dining areas are both amazing and the master bedroom looks so relaxing.
Great use of MOO! A great place for an author This is also making me reconsider about the Cool Kitchen... Gah!

Writer's Repose is a very beautiful build, great structure and I love the open doors on the top floor. Immaculate interior design with a gorgeous soft palette and wonderful lighting
Writer's Repose is a beautiful build!
It is great that you built on Agave Abode, such a beautiful view! The architecture is very cool! I like that modern feel and awesome color scheme too! The landscaping is very beautiful! Lovely gardens and very breezy feel! And your interior, elegant! Love that relaxing feel and very lovely colors!
Gonna love it!
Writer's Repose is cozy and relaxing. The soft interior colors really lend to a relaxed feeling throughout your interior. I really like the open french door style to the balconies also and there is good amount of natural light. Great job, Cath!
Wow!! Great presentation on your Writer's Repose build, Cath! I just loved every bit of it and wish it really existed, so I could walk through that beautiful house!!

Just wanted to pop in to say great job on your two most recent builds, Writer's Repose and Autumn Thyme. I loved the architecture of Writer's Repose and the way you opened up that top level, so cool. With Autumn Thyme, I really fell in love with your interior; your layouts and arrangements were just so good!
@masajo, Thank you kindly for your lovely comments! Much appreciated.
@RyeCris16, Thank you for your awesome comments, Rye! I love the views over on that lot and the best part is, it's pretty inexpensive

@Dels, Nice to see you back, Dels! Thank you very much for the kind comments! I really appreciate your taking the time to have a look at a few of my builds. Coastal Charm is one of faves too. Once I saw the inspiration, I knew I had to try building it. It just looked so lovely sitting on the edge of the water.
@BryonyRae, Thank you so much, Bry! Especially for the comment on Writer's. I have a bit of a hard time with moderns. Oh and I should thank you again for your tutorial on basement spaces. I used it to place those shelves on the side of the car port. It's so nice to know that they won't fall to the ground when someone downloads it.
Hi Cath It is so lovely to see the beautiful interiors of your latest build Writers Repose, I love the balconies over looking the stream and your amazing and inspiring use of Moo.

I just Had to build a haunted mansion for Halloween. I saw an Awesome Haunted House by @thegizky on the Gallery earlier this season, where she used smoking chimneys placed underground to create fog. Pure Genius! I knew immediately that I wanted to use them for the swampy ponds I put at the entrance to my build. The fog looks so cool in game...really creepy and mysterious. I landscaped the property with lots of overgrowth and just a few paths to walk around the home. There's a small graveyard toward the back with two recently buried bodies, an overgrown swimming pond and some perfect fruits and veggies, tucked into the messy overgrowth, back there. Let's take a walk around the property, before heading inside.
First, some views of the home from all sides:
Right:
Back:
Left:
Now we'll take that walk along the paths surrounding this creepy home:
The pond on the left. There is another to the right, which we'll see at the end of the walk.
Heading toward the graveyard and overgrown swimming hole.
You have to really look for them, but there are a few perfects plants tucked into the *gardens* (hehe) on the left, back here.
And the pond on the right side at the entry:
Overhead views starting with the roof on down:
The main floor, starting at the entry hall, through to the dining room on the right, living room in back and ending with the kitchen on the left:
Second floor hall leading to Master en suite with a *hidden* door near the fireplace which leads to the nursery/girl's room. Then onto the boys room across the hall. There's a full bath at the end of the hall, not pictured.
Stairway leading to the teen room in the attic. It has separate areas for sleeping, study, entertainment and it's own bathroom. You may never see your teens again, except when they need to eat.
And finally, on down to the basement where you will find a family room/study, play and skill room, gym and small lab. There is also a half bath on this level, not shown:
And that concludes the tour. Hope you enjoyed having a look.
