    @masajo Thank you for your kind words. I sometimes get lost in the details and sometimes it seems impossible to capture the best corners in pictures for the forum. I'm happy that you've seen what I was getting at!

    The design of Varion's Wrath looks great! :) The design of the home as a steampunk airship is very creative! It looks great how you have placed the enlarged fans on the wings! The curved roofing suits the theme of the build. The colour scheme of the home reflects well the steampunk style. The layout of the build looks great! It is nice that you have an outdoors bar area on the curved balcony for sims to enjoy sitting on the stools having a drink from the bar in the outdoors air. The machine room looks great! It looks very nice how you have used the piping in the build! Very nice gardening nook area for sims to enjoy growing and harvesting plants. The dining area is very nice . The fruit picture on the wall and the sunflowers on the dining table are nice for sims to look at whilst enjoying eating their meals there.
    It is a creatively designed home! :)

    @Rosemow: Thank you!It is so sweet of you to actually pay attention to the pics and to comment on what catches your attention. The color scheme is darker than my susual faire but dark wood is essential for the look. I was enthusiastic about the pipes, I discovered them thanks to @SpecterCody and went wild. I always wanted to build a Skyship but it looks too much like an airplane without some industrial clutter. It is big, it needs a massive machine to stay up, no? I always try to place my pipes in logical places. They don't DO anything but they make more sense connecting something or leading in steam rooms/saunas, to baths, to the machines or tanks.

    Hehe wow, cool airship! I was wondering if it would be possible to make a cool one in The Sims 4. It looks very creative and mechanical. Those giant fans as engines gave me a laugh. The interior detailing looks excellent. I'll have to look in-game sometime for a better view.

    @SpecterCody Thank you, that means a lot, comming from you. I switched lots to test it out and the only thing that gets messed up every time is the bow ornament, the enlarged woodcarvy thingie. it appears somewhere it shouldn't be, no idea why. Rotating a buiding on a lot, now THAT messes up things.

    I find that items which aren't placed in some form of room are just not safe from lot placement issues. Its quite annoying, I know. If it had a platform under it, it would probably be fine. That would of course look pretty ugly!

    I finished the port with the sister ship to the Varion. It is much more luxurious than Ford's home: all cabins are furnished, there's a ship casino, life music, some spa options beyond the sauna and off the ship the little harbor offers fun for all visitors. My sim kids are crawling all over the jungle gym and the water tanks in the below ground docking station seem to be fine for swimming. I didn't want to overload it but it was so much fun and since I build for my own gameplay first and other people second ... to hell with it, if you want that third water tank, go for it and make it extra big!
    ^^ I think I lost half an hour simply trying to figure out how to attach a nozzle-like machinery to my fuel tanks and make it look halfway good and the roulette table was another fun headache.

    @RyeCris16 Thank you! Ships are such fun to build, I'm puzzling over how to make a submarine atm.

    Desert Rose Port looks very great! :) It is a very creatively designed build! The different areas of the build look very nice! The design of the ship looks great! It is nice that you have an observatory tower in your build. The kids play areas are great! They would enjoy playing on the monkey bars and the space ship. The bridge linking the areas of the build looks great. Very nice clock tower! It looks great how you have used the piping in this build as well.
    Both of your builds look very great! :)

    Repost of my challenge entry:

    Name of build: Sakura Blossom House
    Builder EA Origin ID: MorrighanSan
    Level: (please choose OPEN or NOVICE): Open
    Numbers Rolled: 3, 6, 6
    Lot size: 50x50
    Budget: unlimited (value: 532.694)
    Theme: Asian
    Lot used: Gut Eichhof (no idea about the English name, residential 50x50 in Willow Creek)
    Link to gallery for home: Morri’s Gallery
    Link to gallery for sim: (tried to get direct links for 1 ½ hours. Have given up)
    Images (No more than 5):

    “Hm, nobody’s going to starve here!”

    “Comfy!”
    rkd64w.jpg
    “Oh….”
    qn5kzp.jpg
    “And now after all that inspecting I’m gonna relax!”
    vifnv8.jpg
    Main entertainment level/ 2nd Basement: entry, mini-casino, reading room, cinema;
    Living level / 1st Basement: bathroom, kitchen, balcony, bar;
    Private level/Ground floor: 2 master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, sauna, big balcony for yoga and sports, whirlpool, pool;
    1st floor: guest bedroom;

    I built it in Oasis Springs, transferred it to Willow Creek. Razed the lot. Downloaded anew. Everything stayed where it should be. Every. 🐸🐸🐸🐸. LAMP. If a room is dark again because a lamp is missing I’m going to cry.

    .-#-.

    This lot has caused me sleepless nights. The only time I've touched Asian before was Sims3 my vacantion home! And I've rolled unlimitetd budget which for me means (I can be wrong about that though) the challenge is USING that budget meaningfully. I always loved the scene in Skyfall when Bond crosses the lake at night in a sea of lanterns to get to the Macau Casino, the Floating Dragon. No bark in my lot and the color scheme is way different but I went insane with tthe lanterns ^^

    Edit, I didn't win but it was voted 'Most beautiful' I'm happy^^

    @lisa17ann Thank you! I had fun, stressy fun but fun none the less. Sometimes I wish there'd be a exchange program for lots. Play mine and I play yours and we tell each other what didn't work. Because I bet you, some big mistake will mess up that lot despite me playing more than a whole sim week in it. That inspector got quite the workout.

    I will repost here what I wrote on the challenge thread.
    Sakura Blossom House is very pretty! :) The design and layout of the build looks so very nice! You have reflected the Asian theme so very well! The exterior design of the home and the pagoda style roofing looks very nice! The bridge over the water is so very great! The lily pads in the water, and the cherry blossom trees are very pretty! Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! The design of the kitchen is very nice! It looks very nice how you have done the curved island bar stool and sink counter and used the columns there. The dish rack, wall knives and spice rack are nice kitchen touches there. The bar and living room areas are very nice! The bottles are nice touches on the walls in the bar area. Sims will enjoy sitting on the stools there having a drink from the bar and a chat. It is very nice how you have used the spandrels in the living room! Sims will enjoy sitting relaxing on the sofas there, talking face to face. The lily pad lake looks very pretty at night time! The candles look so pretty on the water! Very nice reading room! It looks nice how you have placed the bookcases. Sims will enjoy sitting on the sofas having a read of a book. The tea set is a nice touch on the coffee table. The lantern ceiling lights look very pretty!
    The build is very nice :)
    Thank you very much for the lovely photo that you posted for me! It is so very special! The candles look so very pretty on the water! Thank you! :)

    @rosemow Thank you so much for your comment.
    @Tiki5872 I love your creations as well, especially the witch house and the natural touch. This is why Sims is my main game, not only is it fun but we meet other people who like to build but like to build totally different styles and there's so much outside the box and creativity, there's always something new to discover.
    @yanti68 Thank you! I can't claim all the credit for the bridge area, I looked up saian styles and remembered a similar structure in Skyfall. I had little experience with Asian and the proportions- that roll surprised me!

    I'm at work and it is a slow day, time for some doodles. Guess what I'm going to build next? The guess is made harder by the horrible pic. My camera is crap.

    The End
    Let’s pretend that the sub can be lowered into the water and dive out to the sea through an underground tunnel, yes? And ignore the typos... Of course I see them after making the comic....

    Nautilus High is so very creative! :) The design of the school as a submarine is so very great! Your way of presenting the pictures of the build as a story with pictures and words to accompany them is very creatively nice! I enjoyed looking at the pictures of each of the areas of the submarine school and reading what Natasha wrote! It was great how you split the story up into five days. The exterior design of the build is so very nice! The various themed rooms and areas inside the school and outdoors look great! Very nice furnishing of each of the rooms. Sims will enjoy attending school in a submarine! :)

    WOW! Another creative build! Love the nautical theme! Makes me wish we had an ep like Island Paradise in sims 4! I miss that sims 3 ep! Loved building on water and making house boats. :)

    Here's one of the restaurants I've worked on:

    Steam Express

    This is a small Diner with traditional food. The location is a defunct train engine and car and it has a quirky, retro style.

    I've actively played that lot and I hope that I caught all the little bugs and issues. Playtested: all bathrooms/stations/tables are functional.

    Features: Fully equipped kitchen and cooking station. You don't need all to run a restaurant so if you want to expand you can delet some of the unused counters and decoration to make place for more staff.
    Rooftop table
    multifunction bush in the back
    horseshoe game
    Private backyard and underground storage with bath and study for the owner
    Veggy&Fruit garden. (the chef doesn't use the fridge so I have no idea if they would use fresh produce. It keeps my outdoorsy sim happy)

    Steam Express is super creative and gorgeously fantastic! :smiley:
    I really love your architecture, really reflects the train building so well! Really love the front car looks so MOOtasticly creative! The other one looks great too! Your landscaping looks very pretty! Love how you added some urban touches. The rest looks wonderful too! And your interior, gorgeous! I love how you stuck with a steampunk theme in this build. The kitchen looks great too!
    I really love it! I'm definitely adding this to my faves! :smiley:

    Wow! So many creative builds! At first I was happy since we don't have many Simmers that seem to build in the futuristic/sci fi realm and your park was awesome but then I went on to see that you also went into the steam punk realm as well! So creative!
