Thank you, @gnlovew! Have you ever noticed that sometimes buildings seem to build themselves? At least that's what happens with me. Sometimes, I'll start out with one idea and it turns into something completely different, and I'm just an innocent observer along for the ride.
@Teegers, yes, I know exactly what you're talking about! I feel like I get obsessed and can't stop
Oh my goodness @MeaganJo you finished it!!! Oh wow, I love this so much. It's just full of wonderful little tricks, and such creative use of objects & CAP, like the clouds in the kid's bedroom. I showed this to my boyfriend (who is not a simmer, but does enjoy steampunk things), and he very happily sat through all 43 images (which took about ten minutes because our broadband connection is a complete joke), purring with delight. I'd glimpsed bits and pieces in your sneak previews of course but seeing it all together like that was something else. Wow, wow, wow. You're truly an inspiration!

GC I could seriously hug you thank you so much for such wonderful comments, you make me blush! I am so delighted that you absolutely love this build, it was a lot of fun and very trying but so worth it in the end. Thank you!
P.S Love your little ALCHEMIST’S WARREN, it is absolutely adorable and love that you did it underground. Rec'd!
@MeaganJo this is fantastic... I love that spiral stair (so want it) wonder how much the lot would change if you don't have that set...
rec'ed it
@GreenCats its perfect hugs, I imagen a wish family happyly living there, trying to maintain normal wich life, but still fitting in to the town...
it being so "Blank a slate" I might ad a few toys for kids just 1 box or 1 toy.... or a rocking horse.... but thats really it... I will love hidding this in the woods and will find it a great spot. THANK YOU
hmm just got this idea my curent tester and build sim is a witch... when her job is done I think I make her a friend (also witch) and lets them adopt 1-3 witch kids that I make.... then they can be the witches in town as a start.....
If any one is up to it I could use some help/inputs in my blackcat building thread.... from well any one I got a few difrent challenges that I can't figure out
Meaganjo!!! You finished it!!! Absolutley wonderful. You brought it together so steampunkly beautiful. Your slideshow is great!! Rec'd and favorited! I might try it even though I'm missing ex.stuff.
Eddessa, your newest builds are beautiful!! Rec'd. Greencats, your Alchemist Warren is so cute. Hobbits come to mind. I checked out your Barnacle bay link. I love the sims makeovers and what your doing with the town.

I don't think not having the dark industrial set will affect the build much as I do believe the staircase is the only thing I used from that set. Unfortunately I forgot to list everything that went into this build. I very much dislike how EA doesn't separate world and venue items and break them down in the items used.
Thanks so much for the faithful support you guys give to this thread! I'm so excited to see new friends as well as familiar ones. Your contributions are superb! This week's Featured Contributor is Teegers!

Yes I did finish it, I actually finished it awhile ago just never got the chance to take pics and upload it and well yesterday I had the time and took advantage of it. Hope you aren't missing too much, I got tired of not using my store stuff and was starting to think it was all a big waste of money if I couldn't use it. A lot of it can be replaced with other things thank goodness. Hope when you DL it you enjoy it as much as I have, I think I played in this build more than any other so far.
@MeaganJo, I am in love with your steampunk build. It is gorgeous!!
@GreenCats, your Alchemist Warren is amazing. I'm trying to learn how to use CFE for more than just the basics, and I love your design with the garden on top!
