Thank you .. I don't have another computer but I can save up for a desktop, I've been looking into getting a better pc for gaming anyway:)

YEP. it's really odd my graph card is well above minimum specks so why the heck am I getting this error?
It may be best to play that save game in windowed mode .
Or you could save the sims and lots from that save game to your library, then start a new save game and place the sims and lots into the new save. Then exit the game, move the old save game to the desktop , then launch the game and see if the error still appears.

You have an integrated processor /video card The more you add to this game, the more demanding the game becomes. Just a patch can do your computer in to where the game will no longer play. If you have gotten the notice unable to start with your video card, the game will no longer run . This game requires a mid range gaming desktop. Laptops are weaker than desktop. You need a higher end gaming laptop to equal the desktop requirements. Do you have another computer to play on ?

I got the video card not supported error today. I have played the sims a lot in the past with my current graphics card. my graphics card AMD RX 470. the game will play if I delete the current save file which is somewhat odd. All drivers up to date and tried Repair game. plays in windowed modes

It may be best to play that save game in windowed mode .
Or you could save the sims and lots from that save game to your library, then start a new save game and place the sims and lots into the new save. Then exit the game, move the old save game to the desktop , then launch the game and see if the error still appears.
