I thought of starting the Design That Home-Revival up again if I could ever save up the sp to do it. I know a lot of people had fun with it and we all did some amazing builds.
Oh, I could SO build this....and have my family live in it for generations...but it's part of a build contest I have in mind so I will just hush about the literary houses build contest I have in mind
And I definitely won't mention the largest most amazing casino/game arcade venue build contest...

Gah! I've been trying to avoid looking in here but everyones entires are so amazing! I'm plum out of ideas (and that isn't a swear hehe!), my farm is boring so I think I'm going to start it again since I still have a little time before the contest closes. I think part of the problem is, part of me wants to build an industrial looking farm, and part of me wants to build a hobby farm! I'm torn and the creativity well is running dry! If I start watching inspirational shows I'll forget I was going to play the sims and I'll just watch old movies all night... anyhow, I just stepped in to tell you all that you farms are AMAZING! I can't wait to add these builds to my game if that's allowed? @StephSteb I haven't forgotten about your contest! I'm just builders-blocked x3
Of course, you can add builds. That's why I had people upload them to the exchange I plan on adding a few of these myself. I've been working on one (shhhh) that I'm not entering just putzing around with and it's like half log cabin half green gables. Looking up pictures gives inspiration as well. There's still plenty of time, @Ceea
Just stopping by again to let you all know I absolutely love the pics! I just love the farming in Sims3, it just grabs at my heart (and kids stuff)

@charlotteprice I love what you did to the house from Appaloosa, you should enter it You remade over one of EA's homes and it looks wonderful. I love Banner playing with his exercise ball in the front yard, that is so cute
@djsdragongirl Yes, I remade it. Its a medium size lot and it was a lot of fun making the barn from scratch
I decided to tackle another one on a empty lot and that is a work in progress, LOL. I am starting to like this building stuff, its a lot of fun!
Question: I always create a Sim and move them into the town and then "edit town" to work on other lots in the town. Now, I was wondering...can I just "edit town when starting a brand new world "without" making the Sim first? It would be nice to work on my town before actually starting it and constantly editing the town

Yep you sure can! I do it all the time. When I choose a world I go straight into Edit World to build what I need and then do my CAS (create a sim). I find it works much better....but if you make your house over the starting limit you will have to move your sim to a cheaper lot first then use the familyfunds cheat to get them the money to move in.

Right after this contest started, my game messed up and I uninstalled everything....again (it was right after the Origin patch) Now I am re-installing bits as I need/want them
Question: Where is the clothes line at? I want a washing machine but prefer to hang the clothes out to dry. I am missing it which means I need to install some world or set? Do you remember where it came from?
