When you do, do the elders actually have the children? I tried really hard to get an elder pregnant in my game but couldn't
Sorry, I don't actually know. Even if I weren't to focused my my sim's and her family's lives to check up on said elders later, I would have forgotten to a few days later to see if there was a new baby. If I also didn't forget which elder asked, that is. I suppose, if you have MCC, though, you could use it to allow elders to become pregnant, see if it'll work. Or a cheat.
I've also never made an elder try. After I had an elder sim die on the treadmill, I don't let them do a lot of physical activity, including making babies.

My sims are experiencing jet lag after returning from Batuu. They sleep during the day and stay up most of the night! Luckily Irving and Bryna are self-employed, so no time clock to punch.
