I also wish there was an option to start a new file and choose a premade family instead of having to create a Sim each time. Maybe I don't WANT to start with making my own Sim, maybe I want the challenge of working with a premade household!!

This is such a good question, because I've never had to use the retraiting potion before! But yeah, you have to save up aspiration points for that, which is a little inconvenient, but at least they give you an option that's not cheating (especially since changing them via cheating doesn't work completely)!!

Like the majority, I usually start my game in the Spring. I guess it's just easiest since it marks the beginning of a new year, and it's the first option on the list. Pretty convenient!

Ellupelluellu is right on the money!! Aside from using a birthday cake, that's the only way I know of aging up Sims quickly.

I'd MUCH rather have the utilities turned off than the Repoman. It's more realistic, and a lot less annoying. Wow, OP, you gave that lot a total facelift!! I always hated the layout of that house, even though I've used it a couple of times. The downstairs is fine and well, but the upstairs is so annoying! Have you put the modified version on the gallery? It'd be cool to have that available for download!!
