The main big one seems to be changeable. The 3 smaller ones seem locked. Is there a cheat command to change them?
Anyone know the proces to make a personality change in sim already played?
Doing the CAS edit trick will let you change them, however I don't think it fully removes the trait. I did this method to get rid of the active trait, but my Sim still exercised all the time even when they weren't energized.
There is a command that will let you add/remove any trait in the game though, including the bought ones. First type "testingcheats true" and then:
You need to be in the household you want to modify. When you've successfully enabled testingcheats, it will tell you. Once it's enabled, follow the rest of the instructions. I'm not sure about TS4, but in other versions, it WAS case sensitive.
I believe (but am not certain) that in past games your sims could "evolve" and change their traits if they behaved a certain way. For example, an evil sim who did enough good things could turn good. Is this possible in Sims 4?

Basically what i did was testingcheats true , then i didtraits.clear_traits (this was in live mode but paused) then i went onto the edit household and i could choose the sims traits ;)
Going into CAS with fulleditmode active does not remove the traits - if you had an evil, jealous, kleptomaniac and removed them for other traits in CAS, the sim would still behave as if those traits were active. You have to either use retraiting potion or console commands to really get them removed - and for some of the stickier traits (like jealousy) that can be difficult.
You can use cas.fulleditmode, but like other have said, it doesn't remove the traits fully. Better to use the retraining potion from aspiration rewards. The cheat to get more aspiration points is Shift+Ctrl+C then type: Sims.Give_Satisfaction_Points 5000 You can change the 5000 to any number you want
This is such a good question, because I've never had to use the retraiting potion before! But yeah, you have to save up aspiration points for that, which is a little inconvenient, but at least they give you an option that's not cheating (especially since changing them via cheating doesn't work completely)!!

Without hex editing or cheating, currently you can't change your traits.
Do I do that sequence while in game playing or at the CAS screen?
See now I have tried this and have no luck, don't know what I'm doing wrong.
