I'm a bit sad that since we only have three trait slots this time, being both a dog and cat lover will encompass 2/3 of a sim's personality. Seems a bit one-dimensional to me, but no matter. :0
icmnfrsh I agree. I played Sims 3 after already having 4 for a while, and I was amazed at how much difference 5 traits for adults could make. I suddenly had the ability to create truly interesting Sims with very diverse personalities.
Sims 4 really needs more traits in general, and should let us give more to our Sims.
Someone theorized that if we had more trait slots in Sims 4, sims would be changing emotions more often due to the moodlets produced by each trait. So maybe for the sake of balance, they just limited it to 3. IDK, I think 5 still would've been nice, but it is what it is.

I really doubt that. Why would they do that? It would be such childish behavior and they would punish all their players who are excited about new infos.

I'd like some kind of trigger like I use birthdays for. Though I suppose I could consider becoming one of those this-household-ages-only players as another option.

I play with aging off but sometimes I age sims. If I create puppies, they'll always be puppies. I would love a way to age pets too. We can age human sims, is there no way to age pets with aging off, too?
