I can't connect to the gallery this morning. Is it offline? I haven't seen that happen before, although I'm pretty new to the game. I just hope I didn't break it.

Could be due to maintenance.
Thanks, I bet it was. I was able to get in about 10 mins later.
Ooh! Thanks. I was nervous because of the toddler.
You're welcome! You can also have them to help out. I assume you're playing with Cassandra Goth. If Cassandra wants just Bella to visit and help with the baby, you can just invite her to stay over. You can schedule a stay over through the calendar. You will need a place for Bella to sleep but I think they'll nap on the couch or use a sleeping bag if no beds are available. I'm not 100% sure on the sleeping bag though. It seems like in one of my saves they pulled out a sleeping bag but I may have imagined it.
Can your Sims be asked to prom or only do the asking?
I am going out of a limb, here, to suggest you have to control the Sim who is doing the asking. At least that's been my limited experience with it. I was frustrated when my early grad could no longer make a Proposal to his girlfriend. But I did learn as long as a Sim is a Teen, they can attend the prom. Took that couple to prom from the dorm they shared at Britechester-U. He got into trouble with her for not asking. Face/palm. I couldn't find any way for him to ask her. So I just had him travel to the prom, and take her along with him.
This message comes to you from the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegan, Nevada as hubby and I are celebrating our 49th anniversary!
If I'm incorrect on this information, I do hope somebody who does know what's what will come along and correct me.

It seems like I remember a non-household sim asking my sim to prom a while back. I think I remember thinking my sim should make a promposal sign but her boyfriend showed up at her house and asked her.
I find it weird the pack settings have an option to enable/disable acne development but hair growth has to toggled individually O.o
I didn't know we had a toggle for acne. I actually forgot that we have actual acne in game, and not just the Parenthood overlays. I was reminded of that the other day when I clicked on a mirror.
SweetieWright_84 Congratulations! 18 years. These days that's quite the accomplishment.
Thanks. My parents just celebrated their 50th last week (same day as my husband's and my anniversary). My mom said I gave her the most unique anniversary gift, a son-in-law...and one that she actually liked.

There is a disclaimer with the acne toggle — it won't affect the acne from Parenthood. I just make certain my Teens use the acne powder treatment, daily. None of my teens that I played had it. (I had five who graduated early and sent them to Britechester-U together. They also lived in the same dorm so I could keep an eye on them.) Sadly, the ones I didn't play had mixed results. Kayleigh's triplet sisters. Regina, the first-born triplet had it bad. Oddly enough Hayleigh, the second born triplet, who is High-Maintenance did not have a break-out. Even taking Regina into CAS didn't fix it, a problem others complained about.
I have no idea when or why the original Father Winter was replaced but he is. The one I see now have a brown beard but the original is still available under "Menage families" with his correct "title". It's OK but a little strange...

Maybe Father Winter is on vacation, and Brown Beard Father Winter is picking up the slack.
I've only seen this happen when I accidentally deleted the real Father Winter.

One of my Sims is married to and has a family with the OG Father Winter so now every Winterfest a different one shows up, always with mismatched hair and beard colors. I've been posting them each on Twitter.
I decided I wanted to play the premade single sims (Don Lothario, BFF, Caliente sisters, etc) plus a few Maxis gallery sims. I started something similar to this a few years ago but the set-up was too tedious. So, I'm trying it again. There are 10 households (4 sims per household), and they're all starting out in Willow Creek. It's going to be sort of like the Build-a-City challenge but without so many rules. I'm calling it my megacy (mega legacy) and the goal is to populate all worlds over time with decendants from the original 40 sims.
I started last week just rotating through the premades (plus a few Sims 2 sims) but then this idea struck so I've put that on the back burner for now. Taking bets now at how long this will last before another idea strikes and I abandon this save.
Anyway, I don't have a question, just wanted to share.
@mightysprite The patch level is so low I do not have NS in that install. And I do not have any empty lots left. So I go with the theory that the game did mix things up.
@MrManyIdeas If you're pre-NS then you still have the "fill empty houses" checkbox in your game options, to automatically move sims into empty lots, perhaps that is what happened? Anyway, glad to hear you are having fun with your abundance of Santas.
Hi. Do any of you know how to download a household from your library when the library household already contains 8 sims?
I can never add 8 sims because that would put 9 sims in CAS. I know it can be done with MCCC but without MCCC, how can I do it?
I'm going to save no more than 7 sims to a file from now on.

I assume you mean when creating a new household. It should ask you to replace the CAS household for the Library household. Or just do it automatically.

Doesn't something like this occur when you move any of the special NPCs into a lot and play them?
