Yea Im tired of the EA app. A lot of the time I have to do App Recovery (like think every 2 or 3 days) so itll clear the cache and then restart my laptop. Yesterday everytime I tried signing in it said "The network failed to do its network thing, try again in a few minutes" so after the 2nd or 3rd time i did this, i restarted the laptop and was able to log in
I restarted twice and it finally let me log in. From that point, it was fine.
My parent sims have the Successful Lineage aspiration, does anyone know if Freelancer Careers will count for the Have a child or grandchild reach the top of the career goal?
Just got Growing Together and my first stayover is one of my own Sims, Fernando, crashing at another of my Sims' home and.... he.... won't..... stop.... cooking. IDK why, since he's a robot and can't eat any of it. Trying to make a grand meal for Harvestfest was a pain and there's already so many incomplete meals laying everywhere.....
Literally, it's all he does... 24/7..... WHY?! I hope he's not here too long.... O.o

Thinking about installing a pose player to get some unique pics for the wedding I'm planning. I used it in Sims 2 or 3. Can't remember which. How easy is it to use?
@simgirl1010 The pose player is very easy to use. It is fiddly because you have to go into BB to get the statue and place it, but other than that it is easy. Good group poses will include instructions on how to place the statues. If they don't, you almost always place all of the statues in the same spot, one on top of the other. Then click on the statue and choose the 'summon' option to bring the sims you want to that spot.

Yes, you can look on the calendar. You can even filter by just Stay Overs, and even plan your own. You can click on the day the stay over is scheduled, and delete it. It will send the guests home immediately.

You're welcome. There are two files, Andrew's Pose Player and Scumbumbo's 'Teleport Any Sim'. The teleport any sim is the statue I mentioned. After you place the statue or statues when you click on it in live mode it will give you two options, summon or teleport a sim to the spot. In my previous post I told you wrong, use teleport not summon.
They both achieve the same thing, but teleport is instant and the sim will appear on the spot even while the game is paused. For group poses all of the sims will be piled on top of each other but once you choose their poses and unpause the game they will take their proper places. That's what always caused problems for me. I thought I had to place each statue where each individual sim would be.
Edit: I forgot to mention, the statue will be in the misc decorations category.
Is anyone else having connectivity issues with the EA app? I know there were some issues earlier and the thread was closed as it's believed to be resolved.
I restarted the app and my computer. I know it's not my internet because my son is still in school (virtual) and everything is working fine for him.
I don't want to make another thread so I thought I'd ask here.
Edit: It's working now. I don't know what I did, if anything, but I did have to sign back in. This makes me really wish we could bypass the app all together.
I'm actually having the opposite problem. I have a hard time shutting the App down. It comes up, after I exit the game, sluggishly, and then has the Not responding message in the upper right. I have to keep trying to click on those three bars to get the menu to drop down, allowing me to exit.

I believe you have the ability to end his stay.
ETA: I believe the kind of stayovers where the Sim calls and asks to stay over are about 5 days, max, if I'm not mistaken. And I still think you can cancel those, too.
I think it would be really cool to have fairies in Sims 4 and you can change wing colors, different life states, and maybe a world that's similar to Sylvan Glade.
I'm not really an occult player but if I had to choose I'd select spellcasters and fairies. And since we already have spellcasters that leaves fairies!

That's weird. It does on mine. Maybe try taking all of the filters off? It should be a little green (or maybe orange) icon in one of the bottom corners.

When you said demon eyes, I expected those red eyes. The look appears to me to be more Zombie in nature. Have you gone into cas.fulleditmode? You have to open the cheat window, first type in testingcheats true and then cas.fulleditmode. Give that a try, if you haven't already.

I have too. When I first switched to the EA app, I had no issues, and I even started to prefer it to Origin because it seemed faster. However, since Windows users were forced (for lack of a better word) to switch, it seems there have been more issues, and more frequently.

Are you using default CC eyes? They need to be updated for infants. Track down the creator to see if there's an update or run a Sims4Studio batch fix.
