GreenCats do your sims have any 3rd party CC or use slider mods? I've never downloaded sims before because I'm scared to get 3rd party cc attached to them. But I REALLY like your sims!!

Thanks so much for the compliment. No third-party CC - I checked them in custard before I uploaded.

You're definitely sensible to be wary about downloading from the exchange. A lot of creators (myself included) are very careful about checking everything before upload, but not everyone is. A lot of people just don't realise how sticky CC can be! To be safe, if you plan on downloading more from the exchange in the future, you should get to grips with this tool. Crinrict has a tutorial here if you're stuck.

Zoey95, Quick question, you said you set the public speaker to indie music, How do you do that? Everytime i try to set the public speaker the only thing that pops up is turn off. Thanks for any help you or anyone can give.

I'd probably do that, unless you don't mind the grid marks on there, then just go into build/buy mode and shift + click the seasonal lot marker.

You can go into Terrain Paint while you're in Build mode and it won't show the grid lines. Any spawners will still show up though.

Eta; There is no custom content. Everything on the lot is upgraded to unbreakable, and the wood stove is fire proof.

Astrid's Place

Named for the lady who once called this place home, Astrid's Place is Aurora Skies' premier disco club. Offering two dance floors, a stage for bands, two bars, a karaoke machine and casino games, this club has something for everyone. Come here to experience nightlife at its finest!

I found inspiration from a club called NASA in Iceland's capital city. The club is inside an historic home, and I tried to mimic that with my build.









It was a full moon, and this lot proved very popular with the zombies!




Circe's dad can be seen enjoying the lot in a couple of pictures. Thanks for sharing Circe's family!

Have you tried testing to see if your balloon will land back on the platform? I have been making platforms in my world and so far the balloon won't land on any platform or anything that is higher than ground level.

Wow guys, these creations are incredible! I spent all day Sunday adding community lots from the other EPs and doing quick fixes (ie repainting the outsides, changing roof colors, etc.) to make them match. I am so happy to see some really incredible community lots, and look forward to spending another day re-editing the world again. hehe

And Greencats, your sims are gorgeous (As usual!) I especially love what you did with the outfits! Kristjana's formalwear outfit is my favorite, and I love he outerwear you have on her also.

Chris, thank you for making yet another exceptional sharing thread to make it much easier for lazy simmers (LIKE ME!!!) to get fantastic content for a new world without looking all over. I may even have to pay my debt to society and contribute something also. lol

I loved the school that came with Aurora Skies, but really needed more space for homes and a couple of night clubs, so I created the Love Nature & Nurturing School on a 40x40 lot. If anyone else don't care that the lot doesn't have an address and want a smaller school, I did upload it to my studio, just haven't shown up yet. When it does, I will give a link.

It's on a 40x40 lot, built with base game and Aurora Skies assets, a couple of store objects, the baby swing and basketball hoops. Also the Generations sand play item. The building includes, cafeteria, daycare, classrooms, art class, bathrooms.

Red & Black's Arcade

I built this arcade for my own made world but it looks good in AS (I think so anyways! :P) I have placed it in AS at 44 Lupin Lane. No CC used. Store content has been used.

When I get UL I am planning on adding a basement and placing bowling alleys!

That's correct, balloons will not land anywhere unless it's on the ground. :? I still use my own platform for the romantic interactions though.

I just wanted to share a make over I made of one of the pre-made lots. Some of you might fancy it

It's a make over (as you can see) of Lake View by the Geothermal lake's hot spring?
It contains NO CC but I have used a few items from the greenhouse and monte vista. Decorative items really. I have tried to make the most of the new toddler items from the toddler set in the store as well as the world.
