I did not use White and Pink Hydrangea plants, I used roses (the cream colored ones and they are from the original game)and daisies. The only thing pink I used was heather which was also from the original game. I know it has to be terrain paint because I did not realize there was different terrains per EP. So from pets I am sure it was the terrain paint around the trees and from Ambitions it was the standard terrain paint for grass because I built in Twinbrook, not Sunset Valley. The challenge details did not mention a building location restriction. LOL its the mirror in the master bedroom it is from Pets. Well now I know.

Be careful when you switch from build to buy while coloring your items because it is easy to forget that your game will uncheck your use only base game tab and enable content from all of your EPs. Also if you build in another town you will come up as using whatever EP that town came with.

I think we have all had trouble with keeping EP items out of our builds so I am not going into it here as I think clearly it was accidental and incidental to the builds everyone thus far have produced.

ashley1693 Is that a baby gate?! I love it! Your Kitchen is also amazing.

aml1855 I think you did a great job on your exterior, especially where you chose to use multiple siding choices, that give the house so much more character.

nikkifin Your sitting room with the fireplace is very homey. I also like your use of white and light yellow in the downstairs bathroom.

JGrocks2010 I like that you put the dining room in with the fireplace. While I thought about it myself I felt it would be too cramped but it worked out very well for you.

anniepks It was refreshing to see what this craftsman shell could become on a beachy lot. Nice job!

Amby316 The colors in the master bedroom are so neat they are floral but remind me of watermelon! Also the bunnies on the wallpaper in the nursery turned out lovely.

ZYIsSims Your pool area is so pretty. Nice switch on the window in the bathroom upstairs. I love the way that looks! Guest bedroom is a super great idea, it turned out fantastically!

I am so glad that I waited to look at these before I did my own build but now that I see it I wish I would have thought to put the kitchen in the large room which opens on the back yard.

I hope that whoever judges this challenge is gentle on taking points off for the ep content it was hellishly difficult to rule out and is replaced by non ep items if needed by the game. I feel that the essence of this challenge was pure even if there are a few pesky non-allowed items here and there. I will not be changing my build because I do not have the time over the next few days.

While looking at them, please tell me what changed. I uninstalled all the EP's to see what was not from the base game, and when I put the house into the base game it replaced some things with proxies, but I can't figure out what changed.

Ok it took me two days but went through all of the paint, floors, etc. I had some terrain paints from an ep, and two wallpapers. So here is the new updated house.

Hopefully I didn't miss anything. LOL

Oboe_Sim913 - It says you have pets and I noticed that you did not change the garage doors which were from pets, so you may want to do that. Overall one of the best first time entries I've seen. I love your colors throughout the house. The sitting area at the top of the stairs was a great idea. Nice play area too. One critique is that you had some money left, so you may have wanted to do some clutter and rugs, etc.

I don't think you can delete it, but you can edit it.
Also, it says pets and world adventures. I haven't looked at the pics yet, but I wonder if you changed the garage doors, because the original ones were from pets.

Oops, can't see your pics. Sorry.

I'm not exactly new. I've entered a Build-n-Share before and even won one more than a year ago before Ambitions came out. I just haven't been around the forums much in the past while. I'm really more of a lurker. I've been thinking about uploading more of my creations lately. Hopefully I can get an entry done for this in time. I keep getting distracted with another house I'm building though. Lol
