Hiii! I'm LollyWollyPop ^^ I'm autistic and a very big fan of the Sims. I started playing on my Gameboy lol I had The Sims Bustin' Out which I spent hours and hours on. I still use it now from time to time but primarily my go to game is now The Sims 4 on PC.
I really love The Sims 4! It's by far my fave game to play though I also like playing games on my Nintendo Switch, like the Pokémon games.
In my free time I like to listen to music - I collect vinyl - and I also love reading, watching films, playing toys, being immersed in nature and writing.
Hi! I'm playing Sims again...havent played in years! So I downloaded Sims4 and of course I'm addicted again. So today a friend gifted me the For Rent expansion pack. I redeemed the code, it tells me I own the pack on the game, but it says I need to download it. For the life of me I can't find a download button. On the EA app, the only option is to purchase, but on Sims4 it tells me I own it but have to download it. It also says it requires all game updates. As far as I can tell, my game is updated, it's only recently downloaded, so it's gotta be up to date. Can someone help me out please?
Open Library.
Click on The Sims 4 game tile.
Select Manage.
Choose Manage add-ons.
In the pop-up, a list of your owned add-ons will appear. Installed add-ons and in-game content are ones you own and already have installed.
Downloadable add-ons are ones you own but haven’t installed yet.
Click the Download icon for any add-ons not yet installed.

I started my Sims journey with the Sims 2 on the PS2, one of my all time favourite games of all time! :–) I played The Sims 3 on PC and have been playing The Sims 4 since its release. I love all the Sims games though, I love creating Sims, making stories and creating awesome and unique buildings. Sometimes I still play The Sims 3 as well.
My interests are doing creative writing, reading, listening to music, Lego and Doctor Who. I also have an interest in classic cars which I like to restore in my free time. I work in early childcare at a preschool nursery, and play Sims whenever I can! :D

Hi. I have the pack Get Famous. I want 2 sims from the same household to be actors. I've signed them up for gigs with an agency. They pass their auditions. However I'm not getting the pop up to then join them at their acting job. Their gigs are on different days to each other. So I've tried with just one sim being an actor and the other one quit the job. That worked. So is it the case that there cant be more than actor in the household? I do have mods which I will try and remove them to test but before I go down that route I thought I would see if it's possible first to have more than 1 actor. Many thanks

Definitely test properly without mods. Drag the whole folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. If you still have issues, you can report that at EA AHQ.

If you are new to playing the sims, and have a fresh mod folder to start from, I recommend organizing your mod folders. Clothing, furniture and other build buy objects usually will not effect game play and can be read by the game two folders in. You can organized them 2 folders in.
For the big mods, game play altering, for example MC Command center, ui cheats,... these have to be in only one folder deep, so right there labeled with their name would be perfects, as every update or so, they will have to be updated with the latest version, and it's helpful to swap out for those purposes as well.
Also if you find you want to find the culprit and all else failed, the 50/50 method is the best way to find the issue. If you search on youtube you will find an tutorial explaining how.

Hi everyone! I'm Billy. I have autism and I absolutely love The Sims, the games are my favourite and my special interest! I started by playing The Sims 2 on the PS2 and then I moved on to the PC and played The Sims 3 and then moved on up to The Sims 4, though I still play The Sims 3 as well.
My favourite part of The Sims games is creating stories, building and doing legacy challenges. I love doing legacies in The Sims 4, it's a lot of fun, though I always feel sad when anytime happens to my Sims.
When I'm not Siming I like to listen to music, do creative writing, restore classic cars, collect and fix clocks, and play basketball and football.
