As someone whose been around since Sims 1, I honestly feel like Sims 3's open world was a huge mistake, because it created limitations and made things absolutely chug, and now with that expectation still going strong, it's almost the only thing diehard Sims 3 fans talk about. But the reality is that if they kept that…
My dude I don't know if you're replying to me or the other person in this thread, but if it is me you just put a whole lot of words in my mouth and said a whole bunch of things I wasn't even thinking until just now.
I'd be happy if it evolved, although I disagree that Sims should evolve into 'realistic' territory, because I see a lot of people morphing their sims with cc into a realistic look and it's absolutely always terrifying lol But also I don't think Sims will ever move in a realistic direction because it has never looked…
It's literally the strangerville infection. If this is gamers going into 2020, disregarding normal game development practices and going so far as to act like this, I feel sorry for people making games in the future.
I use Origin only. I tried out the whole 'buy a key from a site' thing once and the packs got banned from my account, had to get a refund on them from the reseller and then I just asked EA to remove them all and let me rebuy them through Origin (which I did). Moral of the story is just buy through Origin.
I actually think Sims 4 is probably the best of them all, aside from a few things I wish it had (no, I actually don't wish Sims 4 had open world because I enjoy having a functioning PC lol) The animations are fluid, the sims aren't uncanny, the CAS is amazing, the gallery is like a place to showcase everything you've ever…
If anything, I cannot play without MCCC. Do not like my sims doing random stuff when I'm not using their household (unless it's changed, cause I've used MCCC ever since 2016 after the first time I tried rotational play lol)
This It's fun to go back and play the old games sometimes, but not everyone wants to fiddle with a million settings on a game from when PCs were still considered good running 2 gigs of ram lol Sims 4 should have all of the stuff that was in the previous games. That's the whole reason the initial release of Sims 4 was…
I prefer houses I download to at least be decorated a little bit, because usually if I'm downloading a home, it's to plop something down I plan to put a sim into and if I see that a house is barren I'll skip it lol
I want to you uninstall all of the packs you've got for Sims 4, and then play just the basegame, and tell me then if we need that, again, with different graphics.
That's the thing though, I see so many people clammoring, like on Twitter, about Sims 5, and if this how people are feeling about Sims 4, how do they see Sims 5 being any better
I don't personally feel like there should even be a Sims 5. I don't know about anyone else, but going through the process of waiting on expansions for 5 years at a time since the year 2000 is wearing on my sanity and I can't do it anymore, and I'm also not rich lol I would prefer they simply perfect Sims 4 indefinitely by…
Yup that's exactly what I'm talking about Like I think it's okay to be constructive and talk about what you maybe don't like, but I think I saw gifs of people beating people up in response to this and so many other things that are just way over the line of okay
It's especially bad to see considering, I do believe there is someone new on the team who helped work on this and I can't imagine how that person must feel right now, coming out the door with this new pack and seeing all this vitriol on social media like, as the first thing they see ... Like imagine it's your first time…
