I never could "get into" TS4. Meanwhile, I was bored last weekend, started a new TS3 save after about a year of not playing Sims at all, and I have been addicted crazy since then. And this is like my 55th time getting hooked...over the past SIX YEARS. No game keeps pulling me back in over and over again like Sims 3. My new…
Thanks for continuing to support this game. Quick question, there is now a pop up that says to run a "couple" of packs, what's the deal? Why now all of a sudden? I've been running pretty much the whole fleet in 4k on max settings without issue. Seems an odd addition this late in the game's life. PS, the don't show this…
The SimGuruGrant comment didn't really guilt me into buying the game people, it just.....ah never mind my game's done installing. I stink at internet forums anyway. <-:Error- Funny Gif 47 NOT FOUND>
I should re-iterate it was mostly the positive comments on here that got me back in the game to try the good features out. And the SimGuruGrant comment really only got me thinking about having "no sims", which I came to realize was what I HAD. Oh well, at least we aren't debating the first amendment like my first thread.
My video game time is severely limited. I am very particular about what I do play. Sims and the Grand Theft Auto series have been able to occupy probably 60% of my video game time over the last few years.
It wasn't the threat of no Sims 5 that made me re-buy, I just figure some Sims is better than no sims. As I'm installing my new copy though I see my product code I had to enter had "4Q" in it. Great, I guess EA got my earlier threads. :-)
I bought it for nostalgia mostly, and for something to do. I don't have any other games on my want list right now. I may not end up getting pulled in and addicted like the last Sims games, but I'll probably get a week of entertainment at least.
I was a "hater" at first. But only because I felt let down. After reading all the posts on here for a few days it seems to me it's a personal preference. But I personally don't feel that Sims 4 is a sequel to the previous games. But that's me. You know how the Star Wars prequels don't "fit" for a lot of people who loved…
I'm glad you and others like the game litabelaqua, but I feel they could have had everything you like about the game AND still had everything people liked about the previous games. The free EP could be released without "admitting" anything. Riverview was a "thank you" to people who bought the Sims 3 game. They could toss…
The modders are out with stuff already? Good. I had noticed the Mods folder in my Sims 4 folder right away. I was glad to see it. A step in the right direction.
I know how you feel friendlyone, I made a "notice" about my thread once. I meant it to point out my absurdity was absurd. It didn't work out so well. Don't feel bad, the internets be cruel.
I will re-buy the Sims 4 eventually most likely. I just felt this wasn't ready for prime time when I played it. Now, in a few years when I see a bundle near the check out at Best Buy for $29.99, I'll probably pick it up for a winter weekend diversion.
I too would appreciate a "what's coming" statement. Some big time patches and large reasonably priced or better DLC packs would go a long way right now I believe.
