  • It's the reuse of animations, lack of in-depth gameplay and let's be real: fairies would have fit in very well with this pack but there isn't any sign of them. The Sims 3 gave us vampires (an occult state) in an expansion (Late night) and this Cottage Living pack, while pretty with the animals that could have been given in…
  • I returned last week to playing TS3 and feel the same way. It's by far the superior game.
  • I remember Riverview was the first town I tried other than Sunset Valley. Such a great place for pets! :)
  • I agree! I will dig deep into my pockets and actually pay for Paralives since the team actually cares about our concerns and ideas. At this point, Sims 4 is like a really bad show that your friend recommended that you watch, and you don't enjoy it, yet they keep telling you, "Don't worry it gets better" or "Keep watching,…
  • I'm so tired of this franchise. I'm reinstalling TS3 and all my expansions because I'm done.

  • Thank you for sharing @Movotti ! I'm going to listen to some more of their songs. They remind me of what Wadruna (Gaahl from Gogoroth's project) could become if they experimented more.
  • @Mariefoxprice83 Check out a band called Alestorm. You're wlecome! \m/
  • I got into Alcest last year after I heard "Sapphire" and fell in love with their music, especially because I also speak French. And Neige would do well with Simlish since he invents his own "language" for some songs already. :D
  • @LiELF in my first post I noted that they were featured in The Sims 3: Supernatural with their "Kill The Light" song. Nevertheless, yeah I'd be happy to probably hear "Layers of Time" from their Black Anima album in Simlish. ;D I'm a huuuuuuuuuuuge Type O Negative fan but sadly Peter Steele has passed on. ;-;
  • @DaWaterRat I love old school metal too! Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath/Ozzy, King Diamond, Judas Priest, Warlock/Doro, you name it. There is this modern band that draws influence from the era and their vocalist Yannis has impressive range. They're called Beast In Black and he sings in clean vocals and you may like them.
  • @ParmaViolet87 The ending always makes me headbang. And the song is diabolical and a waste of Joe's vocal range. Highly Suspect was good for their first 2 albums. Not to mention they've received a lot of criticism and lost fans for their poor 3rd album. I would love to hear "War Pigs" in Simlish, or maybe even something…
  • @logion I absolutely agree. I think we may have luck because Nightwish just released Human. :II: Nature. and Epica has just finished recording theirs and they did a song called "Crimson Bow and Arrow" for Attack on Titan two years ago so I think Epica would be open to recording music for TS4 and their symphonic metal sound…
  • @ParmaViolet87 Hails! \m/ You wouldn't believe that I've only listened to a handful of Gojira songs over the years until last year I heard "The Art of Dying" and then dove headfirst into their discography. One of my favourite songs by them is "Where Dragons Dwell". Side note: I wish that rock and darkwave could make a…
  • You know, reconsidering the poll suggestion, it may work out badly because they may play samples and the majority of people may favour "radio friendly" styles so recant that.
  • I don't tend to build restaurants but I may make seaside restaurants that serve fish if in a good mood. But in general I go for Italian ones. Speaking of which, I love LilSimsie's world save file because she features really nice restaurants. In Sulani the waiters are all dressed in the pirate outfit from Spooky Day which…
  • I agree. It's a waste that they are creating packs with features that cannot mingle with the other worlds nor serve any purpose for other expansions.
  • Where do I begin? What can I point out that hasn't already been addressed? When regarding climate change and environmental awareness, would it have not been logical to include these facets into the Island Living Expansion to compliment the conservationist career? What a waste of an EP. I'm tired of being clowned by EA, I'm…
  • @KaeChan2089 I'm packing up my things and retreating to finish The Song of Ice and Fire and by August "The Winds of Winter" should be out. I've been satiated by all these courses at this feast of disappointment 2020 has hosted. Those rapacious goblins at EA can keep that expansion cash grab that could have appropriately…
  • @Gordy I agree. They have always set the precedent of mediocrity with these packs so I know what to expect now. The features are going to probably be confined to that upcoming world. And to concur with your last sentiment, I also want dragons back.
  • It hasn't released yet and I'm already disappointed. You know, after six long years, an emotion system in need of augmenting, several things that could be updated in patches I'm just:
  • @Mariefoxprice83 I just finished A Storm of Swords last night and I'm moving onto A Feast For Crows. And yes I enjoooyed The Sims 3 Dragon Valley. I wish they would give us a medieval world with occults anddragons too in TS4.
  • Hey I watched this video too on YouTube and I agree 100%.
  • @Mariefoxprice83 I HAVE BEEN SAYING THE SAME THING. I'm currently reading A Storm of Swords and it just makes me want little dragon pets even more. Or it'd even be nice if they'd be as intricate with breeds in like in the Cats and Dogs expansions. I could see them fitting into a Fantasy Expansion that comes with fairies,…
  • Of course we deserve another Supernatural themed pack. We were robbed with that tiny town of Shrunkenbrook Glimmerbook and there are so many flaws that need to be updated with occult states. Children should be able to perform magic, or even limited spells or at least do something that hints at growing powers. Mermaid…
  • @MrDoodlekins this is something I subconsciously wanted and was shocked MAXIS didn't actually hop onto the Superhero train during the height of Marvel's Avengers films, like TS3 had done with the Supernatural pack during the Twilight era. I really would like playing as a villain and an interactive one for that matter. But…
  • @SadBlueRaincoat A year ago I would have disagreed staunchly, based on the fact that TS2 was my first game and I enjoyed TS3 more. But now I realise the same. While the gameplay of the previous two games have more depth than TS4 the last time I launched The Sims 3 I spent 8 minutes waiting for a downloaded house to…
  • @NorthDakotaGamer You made such an excellent point. The game feels like it's made for teens to elders to have fulfillment, while the children feel a bit dull. Occult spellcasters only do animations in CAS and I was sorely disappointed that toddlers couldn't make their toys disappear like in TS3. Why can't spellcaster kids…
