Thank you @rosemow I hope they will enjoy taking Horses to my park in the desert, its one of my favourite maps to build on I think because we do not have desert in the UK
I have started another Desert build, this time a home that is inspired by an image I will add below my Screenshots of how it looks so far. I hope to add a stable to the rear of the property and possibly a pool and BBQ if there is room.
I also think this way would look nice as the front except for the harvest area. I turned it but it left less room for a Horse so I am still deciding, what do you think?
Your modern desert home WIP is looking very nice! @luckyheather The layered roofing is very great! Either way as the front of the home looks good.
You are reflecting your inspiration picture very well.
Hi @rosemow and thank you for taking a look at my WIP and for telling me it looks nice so far and that it does reflect the inspiration image The layers of platforms attracted me to try it out and the unusual planters for growing things. I think its only going to be one or two bedrooms and I look forward to carrying on with it tomorrow. Thanks for your input
I worked on the Desert House today and these are the update Screenshots. I added a basement for a party room and a spare bedroom, so it has 3 bedrooms and a stable for 2 Horses and Nectar making. I am still furnishing and need to add decorations. There is a childs bedroom on ground level with a bunk with toddler bed underneath and next door a study.
Your updated version of your desert home WIP is looking lovely! @luckyheather The cactus bed and plants are very nice. The pool and horse training areas are great. Very nice glass roof stable with nectar making . The layout of each level is great. It is very nice that there is a basement bar and dance room.
Thank you very much @rosemow for looking and commenting on how my desert home looking so far I am pleased that you like the pool and Horse yard plus the glass roof that I put in as it was a bit dark in there. I hope Sims enjoy the basement party room and that some guests can sleep over, or if they get anyone turn up on their doorstep all of a sudden with suitcase in hand Thanks for your kind words I enjoyed them.
I decided to try the #DiscordShellChallenge and I have been thinking a lot about what to build and I decided to do a Garden Center so this is it so far and I want to do some areas outside that reflect some of the words. The Conservatory part has no walls the windows are from the Greenhouse kit and are just standing there. Its a large lot 50x40 so its going to take a while.
I thought it looks a bit like a Barn so I am building in Henford on Bagley
Thank you @rosemow I did do more before stopping and the only problem is trying to decide what goes where, but I did build a separate greenhouse at the back and put plants in it for the Flower arranging table in the conservatory. I also added displays of potted plants and vases inside on the left. 3 bathrooms in the top level with baby changing mat and some toys.
I am pleased you like the design thank you. Oh and if you think of any Garden Center names I would like to hear them
Here is an update of my Garden Center and yesterday my game froze and it did not save what I had done but luckily I save into my library now and then. This morning my game suddenly went off and again it was not saved so now I am coming out of the game so I do not have to place the library version, so its slower going.
This is how it looks now, I am still doing the exterior and the areas are using different world packs, like the Eco Lifestyle shed. I want the exterior to look relaxed and natural and who ever owns it can sell the furniture and any workbenches etc.
Front left is for Cottage living mainly
Back
Right Side is Asian at the back and Boho High School Years
I am sorry that you have been having issues with your game @luckyheather I hope that they clear themselves up.
Your WIP is continuing to look lovely! The design and layout are great. It is nice that you are using the different packs for the various areas. The greenhouse and gazebo are very nice.
Thanks @rosemow its slowly getting there I hope I can finish it tomorrow if it lets me I have to laugh and do my best, im happy with it so far and I am glad you think its great and that you like the idea of the areas. I still have plenty of planting etc to do outside and finish the areas, thank you for saying the greenhouse and gazebo are nice, I did put an extra Till in the greenhouse for selling any outdoor items the owner decide to sell.
Today I have started the #SimsieLlamaShell challenge and she said we can stack the shell so I have made it 2 levels for a larger family. Its an odd shape so more difficult for the floor plan and it also has a basement. The fencing may change and so far it is base game.
I will add an image of the original shell as well below mine
Thank you @rosemow I am happy that you like it so far and I added the balconies for two reasons, I love balconies and it makes the shape less like a Llama but the floor plan is difficult so I thought a 2nd floor was really needed for more bedrooms. My hand is hurting now so its time to rest it again but I am glad I made a start on it Thanks for looking at my attempt.
Thanks @coolsim9999999 I still have to furnish the whole house plus basement and to decide about that huge rear garden I think a pool is needed Lol and some harvestables as usual, but I would like to do Base game if I can or only a couple of packs as I get too carried away as I buy all of them
Here is an update on how my house from the Llama shaped shell is going. I have done most of the 1st floor and basement and a little on the outside, mostly the balconies and car space. The plants are just popped out there to get colour ideas. I stopped as my hand started hurting, its frustrating not being able to continue Lol. I have started to use some 'Seasons' items and I will add some harvest plants and Pool etc.

Ground Level with Kitchen not furnished, top left room
Thank you @rosemow but looking down on those wooden floors it looks rather bland so I might change the wood or change to tiled I am not sure, I might research some Spanish styled homes Thanks again for looking at my house.
