I decided I wanted to do a community lot for the Kids who like Science, Robots and Rockets, so I just built this...its huge inside Lol plenty of room for anything I add to it. Outside I thought a terrain area like the moon or something
I'm currently working on a junk yard retail lot called "Grift n Grill" it's going to be a one-stop shop for my sims to go buy that thing that looks just like the one they're sure they have at home before stopping by the grill for some dumpster delicacies.
There's still a long way to go and a few spaces I'm struggling to stage but love what's been done so far.
Entrance
the yard. (would it be too weird to put a trashy playground here?)
The families train cart/container house and future trash fruit farm.
This home I have started for the new pack Growing Together and I will not furnish it until later. I have done some of the garden and started the interior walls, my game froze and I have had problems like that since the new EA App, I hope they fix that as it was lucky I had saved it to my Library as the lot was gone I had to place it again and the ground floor room walls were mostly gone.

I tried to work on a cathedral as a wedding venue for Tartosa, because a church is the traditional (and sometimes a bit old-fashioned) venue to celebrate a wedding in my world. I had a look at the famous French cathedrals of Paris, Beauvais, Amiens, Chartres and Reims and tried to build something similar. Thanks to some great CC I guess I got something which turned out pretty well regarding the limited options of the sims build mode.
I used the "La Coppia Serena" lot (50x40) in the "Terra Amorosa" neighborhood of Tortosa for this build. The name of the cathedral is "Basilica St. Cordelia" according to the classic architecture style of a gothic three-aisled basilica with transept, crossing, choir and apse. Characteristics for that style are the flying buttresses to stabilize the vault on the outside of the building.
View from a Sim's perspective to the main facade flanked by the towers:
West facade with choir and apse:
East facade with the transept in the center:
Roof construction with the buttresses and the flèche (spire) on top of the crossing:
Notre Dame de Paris in RL as a reference
I hope you like it. Thanks for viewing.
Bonxie: Great Skua, stercorarius skua. Meet me on Fair Isle.
I've jumped way out of my comfort zone with this build, so any constructive criticism or suggestions would be appreciated.
This fantasy build is for one of my Junk Yard Kids. She hated life in the junkyard and worked hard to get a degree and master spellcasting before moving to Glimmer Brook. My goal is to have it look like she has used magic to build a home which is a jumble of the houses she saw and wished she lived in as a child.
Your WIP fantasy home is looking very great! @Divapixie Very lovely exterior design, great roof tower and very nice windows that you have used. The entrance is great and very nice roof covered front porch
Makeover to that Maxis burgerplace what came with DO

I downloaded a popular nightclub off the Gallery (by kipikipi94), and then I set to work on it. It's still kind of WIP. It's now called The Crystal Butterfly. The gems decorating it may be made of silicon, but the management assures you that the employees are not.
It may look similar, but it shouldn't, because I managed to knock over S500,000 off the purchase price. And no, that didn't involve stripping the inside. It did, however, start with about S400,000 of unnecessary lighting. The only thing that needs lighting up in the Crystal Butterfly is the stage.

Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.
The Crystal Butterfly is lovely! @Loanet The crystals are very pretty! Very nice colours and the patterned lights on the walls are very nice. The butterflies are pretty.
I Love your Fantasy build @Divapixie great roof shapes for a magical home my only idea is to add some plants growing on the outside (I do it on mine) like some laying ivy and a few ferns and wild flowers for a hint of colour, maybe a few crystals in them too you can change the size so they are not too big. Oh and the table lamp that has a crystal you can enlarge ant put it up on the tower pointy roof. I hope you dont mind me saying.
I have started building on the new World and im on the Anchorpoint Wharf and rather than doing Industrial... like always Lol I decided to go Naval/Fishing themed as its next to the Anchor, though I did make a fun water display with a smaller Anchor. Nearly all my homes have something water
I love the new Navy Blue siding and these beautiful windows.
I built a watchtower for Telescopes
Thank you , @luckyheather I have lots of your Steampunk builds, love them !

Oh thank you @Ellupelluellu as I know Steampunk is an acquired taste, I love how random and interesting it is and every build if different, so I enjoy getting in the Steampunk mood now and then Thanks for having my builds.
By the way when I played Sims 3 I created a large Steampunk home it was Myst inspired from images. Well EA decided to do a Special about my build, they had never done that before and only did it once more and that was a Steampunk build too. I had an email from them informing me, I saw it and thought I had done something wrong Lol.
Your new WIP home is looking lovely! @luckyheather Very nice blue colour, and pretty flowerbox windows. The windows are lovely! Very nice pool and hot tub area.
