Great idea @Ellupelluellu to renovate that Burger place, yours looks good! Im well into industrial a bit too much at times Lol.
The crystal Butterfly looks so pretty at night @Loanet love that name too You can never have too many lights with a Club how ever much it costs!
Here's a thing about lights in the Sims - if you put one light over another, or very close, it won't glow any brighter. Similar, if you increase the size of a light, it won't increase the light radius. Sometimes people make pictures with about a hundred lights, which is okay for show but not okay for your electric bill.
Love your little house, though!
Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.
Thank you @rosemow I love that Navy blue for the exterior and those new windows are so beautiful, im thrilled they suited that house Thanks for saying how nice it looks.
I am doing another build with Simsies shell and with thought I decided to do a little Llama farm/ranch Lol so they can knit with their wool and sell things on plopsy. Im doing a big veggie patch to help fill the lot and maybe do the lots challenge to cook their own food, I was thinking off the grid but lilsimsie did that with her version. Heres what it looks like now
I put the shell twice as she doesnt mind so each has a double bedroom, 1 has bathroom the other in a hut, 1 has the living room the other has the kitchen. I would like it to be a bit Eco too so I have to add some turbines or panels yet.
Btw there is a 3rd Llama shed on the left you cant quite see. Im going to put a Truck from Cottage living on the left front.
If interested the Shell challenge is #SimsieLilShell
Updated Screenshot as I have stopped now and most of the interiors are done. I will put harvest plants in the little field.
Your LLama farm ranch WIP is looking lovely! @luckyheather The exterior of the buildings are very nice, and great gardening area. The llama sheds are great and the truck adds a nice farm touch to the build.
Thanks @rosemow I am so happy how it turned out in the end after filling out the exterior some more. I did put solar panels on one roof but the turbines looked wrong, but I did manage to add a dumpster by the harvest plants so that I was pleased about
Here its finished
This is where I put solar panels made smaller and 8 overlapping
By the way I found that some wall items will 'snap' into place on the outside front of the stables, like the aprons for example or winners Ribbon
Today I have started making a Rec Center from an older build of mine that was 'Newcrest Retirement Home' if you want the original. This Recreation Center is for Seniors and their relatives to come to and I wanted a more 'Homey' look rather than modern I decided this old build was what I was aiming for so I am making changes including the new Growing Together windows, I used the larger more modern ones as the others did not suit it.
It will have a kids play area outside and other hobby areas out and inside.
Front
Your Rec Centre WIP is looking great! @luckyheather It is very nice that you are converting your older build into this new venue. The exterior design is lovely and very nice roofing. The windows that you are using are very nice and the gardenbeds look pretty
Thank you @rosemow im so pleased that you like the roofing and the windows I used as I changed them from base game ones. The front flower bed thats on a base I removed so there is more space out there so I will be adding more shrubs and flowers nearer the fence that I am not decided on yet. I have added the Kids Ship/jungle gym on the right by the tree and I think there will be a kids area right of the front door so parents and Grandparents can see them through the windows Im glad you like the build im using, thank you for your comments.
Your castle WIP is looking very nice! @Caters Very great interior layout, and lovely wall patterns. The furnishings are lovely, and very nice long dining table room.
Thank you @rosemow I'm glad you love the interior design of it, I am basing it, at least in the shape of it, on a real life castle in Germany, using reference pics and floor plans to help me out while building it. It's my first time building from a reference.
Yesterday I started a renovation of an old Spanish Mansion I created and now changing it to Greek. It has 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms so rooms for a family of 8 and guests, plus other skill or fun rooms to decorate as I emptied it and started fresh. I used the Snowy Escape roof tile and window awnings as I like that blue.
This is how its going so far
Your Greek mansion family home WIP is looking lovely! @luckyheather Very great exterior design, and the Greek style white and blue colours are pretty. Very nice awnings covered windows. The pool and bar patio is lovely. Very nice interior layout.
Thank you very much @rosemow its going to take me a while to furnish all those rooms and clutter them my habit is to be doing 1 room and see something that will match another room, then go to that room and forget the one I was doing Lol so back and forth ha ha I dont know if that takes me longer to get them all done but its what I do Lol. Then I have to look all over to see if I missed something and usually I do! Im pleased you like it so far
I hardly ever build, but fell in love with Artsimologie's "Container Home Shell" and couldn't resist to furnish it. The pics on the wall are from the incredibly talented moonl1ghtseeker. Hope you like it!
Your furnishing of the home is lovely! @Simyim Very nice design and layout. The furnishings are lovely and very nice sitting and reading area. Sims will enjoy playing the guitar.
Hi just a quick couple of Pictures what I built today its in Tartosa just a 3 bedroom villa, lots to do inside and add more plants on the exterior walls especially the rear.
Your family villa WIP is looking lovely! @luckyheather Very pretty exterior design and the planterbox windows and awnings are very nice. The flowers are very pretty and very nice pond with water wheel.
Thank you @rosemow I felt like doing part of a build on an angle as I rarely try that, and the waterwheel was just an idea as I thought it would be nice, so thank you very much for saying its pretty
Today I have started an unusual build, I love the image I have used for inspiration and I know it will be different but hopefully still pretty and a nice home. Its in Windenburg on the Island. The roof tops will have lots of plants and I might put a mill on the front rounded garden.
Front at the moment
Rear that has a room under the greenhouse I have to decide on
Your sims gameversion WIP of your inspiration picture is lovely! You are reflecting it very well! The greenhouse is very nice and pretty pond and flowers
Thanks @rosemow I have been working on it all morning, so heres a couple of Update Screenshots of the outside, the interior is nearly finished and the room under the greenhouse is a workroom with a few benches and ladder up into greenhouse. There are lots of ladders and 2 stairs.
I still have to add a lot more plants
Last WIP Screenshot
I add Jungle Adventure plants so now its more lush looking
Your updated version of your WIP is continuing to look very nice! @luckyheather The greenhouse is lovely and very nice exterior wall textures that you have used through the build.
Thank you @rosemow tomorrow I can hopefully make it more pretty with flowers on the roof areas, the greenhouse has 2 clear floor tiles on top to let the light in so I will add harvestable plants in there and out the back on those dirt patches. Thanks for your encouraging comments
