Right now I'm trying to build them a bigger house with a first floor nursery, it would be nice to have an idea of what new furniture is going to come with infants besides the Pack N Play for sizing.

I agree, I was going to start decorating a nursery, but then I realised I had nothing to put in it! Hopefully infants come at least with cots as well as the play pen.

@CAPTAIN_NXR7 Thank you for my Morning Chuckle! What a hoot. triple tantrum in three fold and one of its head will grow into a sim guzzling tantrum tree? LOL
This should be the easiest decision for me, yet oddly it’s not! I only play one sims family, so technically I know it will be one of my Holden family members. I’m currently debating the idea of starting over my game with the kids aged down to an infant and toddler, or I could keep going with my current game and wait until it’s a good time for one of the kids to expand the family.
I’m leaning toward continuing with my current game, but it would require great patience as the kids in my sim family are currently teenagers. I’m thinking if I go down this path I could even create a flashback save with the kids aged down to take family pictures to put in my current save. This way I’d be able to get a taste of infant gameplay without spoiling the whole experience.
It would also help if I knew what the upcoming expansion gameplay was going to add. If it’s a family themed pack with elder gameplay, I need to continue to my current game. If it’s focused on younger ages, then re-starting my game isn’t a bad idea. Ahh, I’m so torn
My favorite family featured on my signature is due for a baby, as they have a child and toddler already and i would love to explore the new babies with them
@jpajari Until we know just when to expect the EP, which may be hinted at in the Live Stream, (we never really know), it might not be released right away. It might come out later in the year, even the summer. I think you have time to make a decision. Certainly, we may know more in just one week. Try not to stress over it.
OR, and this just hit me. Start a second save, which will be a restart, then you can get that save to where a baby will be added and keep the older save just in case the EP turns out to be something that includes more for the elderly. Voilà, your bases are now covered.

I have a save where I play all the preemades for one sim week each in rotation. In that save I have about 6 babies at the moment so it will probably be one of them.

My sim Robyn has just graduated university and moved in with her university boyfriend. It probably won't be too long before they are thinking about marriage and kids, so I imagine it will be them. They're adopting a pet first though. Best to start small.
Nervous Subject (from TS2) is my test sim for every new pack/feature! There is a Mrs. Nervous as well, so they currently have a newborn ready to age up! Can't wait!
My House 05 Drifter is on hold, my first Mermaid and possibly first Werewolf babies too, among a few others. The Drifter heir is the one I'll most likely play with infants first overall. They're all special to me, but I've been playing my Drifters the longest.
Brett Scallions and Raven Smith will be the proud first parents to have infants. Right now, I'm getting them both through college. Brett plans to propose after they graduate and of course they will have a big beautiful wedding.
Brett is a musician and Raven will be a doctor; but, she plans to take some time off after they have the baby.

If we can have infant playdates, their friends will have infants too.
I was really surprised that they decided to introduce a new life stage. Having it be infants was the best news ever.
I have a polyamorous family with an alien toddler and I want to introduce another baby to the family soon, either a vampire, either a spellcaster. That new baby will be my test subject for infants!
Had a change of plans. I had a baby since the announcement of infants but now I’ll let the kiddo grow and have a new baby down the line 😃
And life goes on. We all can only do what we can do. I hope you find another suitable couple for that first infant experience. I'm having to restart and hoping like crazy I can get my couple ready by the 14th of March.
