Yay for bathroom clutter! I'll be snapping up that one right away....
Any chance we can get the devs to update all of the standalone sinks in the game to have slots so we can place the small clutter items on them (ie: bar of soap, toothbrush cup, etc)? Pretty please with sugar on top? *bats eyelashes*
Oh, I have a plan for that. My Rock Star has the fancy-dancy bathroom stand-alones, you know that goes with the swan tub and the throne/toilets. I plan on placing just the right counter between the two in his master bathroom. I'll let you know if it works.
I was able to purchase the kits, the workaround is to enable online functionality in the EA app, including overlay etc, this allowed me to buy them and play with them
I've watched reviews of the bathroom clutter and I won't lie, I'm disappointed and thats coming from someone who really wants new bathroom decor and items. Not sure If I will purchase it. At least not yet. Going to wait to see how the upcoming EP is first and if i find that fun enough to play TS4 again, then I may buy it.
Wow cool π π π π π. I feel like we needed underwear for a long time. And I have years worth of cc clutter but I still think the bathroom one is nice. I use to not care about clutter but at some point I figured out why all of my houses looked like big empty squares. π
A lot of the items look kinda low-quality tbh. Or too similar to what we have to be worth paying 7 bucks for. That said, there are some nice items, and I love the alternate Voidcritters swatches. I like giving my kids Voidcritters merch, so the more the merrier.

I like the intimate items, I haven't used all of them. The bathroom clutter is a great collection, but some of the items are so big... I do wish they had a smaller footprint like the Everyday clutter kit

Sometimes I wonder about this as well. What details do we need in the game and what not.
It is strange to see people get excited about virtual (non-functional) lights witches, tooth brushes and toilet rolls. Nice for those who want those but not exactly something I need in my game.
I think this game is played by two very different groups of people in those who play the game and those who build. And from polls and things Iβve seen the builders is the biggest group so it kinda makes sense they get catered to the most.
Itβs a shame they look to have gave up on gameplay kits though, Iβd much rather have a patch with just working hairdryer animations than all of this clutter stuff personally.
It would be nice if the hair dryer, plunger, toothbrush, dentures, teeth, bath soaps, lotion, razor and comb were usable. The only reason the building community is so large is b.c the sims 4 is basically a building game with minimal CAS and gameplay slapped on. If they put some effort into connecting packs and polishing the gameplay more people would play the game instead of just building in it.
I bought both kits but the Simtimates kits is definitely my favorite. My sims desperately needed new sleepwear. Iβm sending my sims on a baby-moon (before I stop playing the save to wait for infants) and the new sleepwear will be perfect for that. Iβll have to post some forum appropriate photos of my sims later.
I like both KITs but I have a feeling that sometimes EA overcomplicate the items they create. Underwear options for example are ok, but in my opinion have a lot of unnecessary additions such as weird belts. I wish we had more casual options but with more swatches.
What about the clutter kit. It's also nice, but I miss more towel and rug colours. Seriously. Sometimes this make a huge difference.
The swatches combination is always funny for me, because The Sims team create very good meshes, but after that they destroy a lot of items by the colour choice. Look how good Base Game stuff may look like with recolours:
Are they serious? Really? How about something useful?
Fitness: cycling machine, liftable weights, exercise/dance bar
Kitchen: food processor(s), hot chocolate machine
Music: the many instruments that we don't have yet, and they be functional
