I've just rewatched the trailer and there looks to be loads more new floors/wallpapers which is awesome! Locker decorating! Pranks in the classroom...there's so much going on, I can't wait to play it!!
so far i have a story draft with my save where fraternal Twins andy and Mandy go are different types of Cliques Andy is the jock while his sister is the nerd ironically is also a cheerleader due to the parents insisting she gets exercise.

That sound like a good storyline. I currently have one child in my household who'll attend but I'll be adding another so I can experience different features in the pack.

i wanted a twist to the nerd stereotype by making her a cheerleader too
I really want to know what this feature is:
" introducing an additional new feature that will add more choice and opportunity for discovery to your Sims’ lives. "
I hope since it's going to be a base game update, that it'll be for all Sims.

I'm fairly positive it has everything to do with the trans pride flag in the roadmap picture and the fact that there were several LGBTQ sims in the trailer. I think we're finally going to get a lot more ways that you can explore various aspects of your sim's gender identity, gender preferences, and gender expression.
I may be wrong, but I sincerely hope that's what it means
When slow dancing is coming back to the base game after it's no longer exclusive to My Wedding Stories, The Sims team better add my R&B radio station back to the base game or else...
@GalacticGal ha ha thats where I am right now as well. Also my high school years were 1967 - 1970sh. Hmmm I wonder if those fashions are cool again. Can we still say cool??
"Every child matters. If we fail our children, we are bound to fail our present, our future, faith, cultures, and civilizations as well."
Good morning, students and faculty of Copperdale High! Welcome back to another adventure-filled school year. For those of you that are new to our school and town, we’re excited to have you joining our dear community! Once renowned for its booming mining industry, Copperdale is a small town nestled on the banks of Lake LaSuli where you can truly live out your teenage dreams, explore your identity, and test boundaries through choices and growth.

Ohh!! Thank you for that explanation! So, maybe CAS will get a bit of an upgrade then? *crossed fingers*. It'll be interesting to see on July 15th
I cannot believe we are just 3 or 4 months removed from the MWS disaster, and it looks like we have another extremely good pack coming. The quality seems to have gone way up with Werewolves and now High School. The depth and quality are amazing, what we can see of this pack anyway. I was blown away by Werewolves and I'm getting a lot of the same vibes with this pack too.
I'm loving what I see, and since I'm home I'm able to see a lot more than this morning at work. I'm amazed that we're getting both an interactive school but any entirely new world. I wasn't too sure this morning before the trailer dropped that it would be possible to get both, because of how big I felt like a high school would have to be compared to what the movie studio is, but here we are! I'm eagerly awaiting details on the world, and I hope it's a real world-ish version of Moonwood Mill. And to those worried about the number of empty lots, bulldozers go through creators lots like butter. I wouldn't demolish their work for the sake of destruction, but if I need the lot and I want my own building there, so be it.
I love that graduation looks like it won't be a rabbit hole like it is in DU. At least I don't think it will be since there was footage of it. I'm really happy to see Proms, even though the lingering ghosts of MWS wedding disasters still haunt the sims universe and make me a bit nervous. Trying to keep that many sims focused on the main task at hand is....fraught with peril. I'm going to take the cautiously optimistic view, that the Gurus learned a great deal from the MWS debacle and this will go much smoother. It has too...right?
Shaving is a feature that I'm not sure how I feel about at the moment. I'm not huge on body hair or beards and mustaches, and I really don't want to have my sims spending inordinate amounts of time on it. I'm not terribly worried at the moment, but it's something I'm going to be keeping my eyes and ears on, and I hope isn't going to be something that becomes an intrusive element.
I'm going to go back and rewatch the trailer again a couple more times to try and absorb even more details.

I feel like CAS is going to get a big upgrade to allow for greater diversity of gender expression, along with the addition of body hair for hopefully all sims. There are so many ways to present as male or female but CAS only lets us explore a tiny fraction of those possibilities. I really hope that's going to change with this base game update.
Looks pretty neat! I like the build/buy, hopefully school lot types will be a thing but not a deal breaker if it ends up beimg we can follow our teen to a school we can modify. Im definitely gonna be making school cliques xD. I probably will be waiting until its out on Amazon since I got free giftcards to use, but this is definitely an EP im keeping an eye on.
There are so many little things I am excited for! My teenage sims are screaming, I am screaming lol
This might be the first expansion pack I purchase at full price since Get Famous!

I’m gonna wait for a confirmation that they sit on the ledge (unless they said it the blog post) because it could be a still shot of a teen sneaking in the room through the window. I’m pretty sure the Trellis is just a new ladder type that can be used anywhere.
I am glad the ferris wheel is a woohoo spot. I wonder if the tunnel of love will be also. I hope the haunted house is at least as interactive as the rocket ship and gives me choices to make.
I know a lot of people are upset about them being rabbitholes, but even that kind of carnival would be fun for me I think. I was not expecting the carnival in any way and was shocked when it popped up in the trailer.
Now I wonder if they'll add other things people want while splitting Generations into separate packs. Maybe the retirement pack could have casinos and resorts because the retired have more time to travel.
The Amusement Pier sold me. As soon as I saw it I was super excited. This pack does look to have quiet a few gameplay interactions... throwing football (Yay), after school activities, pillow fights, shopping... I just hope child sims can also do some of these.
Look forward to seeing more of the world.

This entire outfit and that hair🥰
I don't know what's gotten into the people making the CAS content lately, but whatever it is keep giving it to them.

Burglars or not, I love the addition of sneaking out and back in...though I wouldn't know anything about that.😏
Look forward to seeing more of the world.
