I'm looking forward to this pack so much, that I've already started planning and building.
It's a work in progress, but this is going to be my library/book store. I plan to update the colours and textures when the new pack is released, and I think I'm going to replace the vertical wooden beam texture for friezes instead. It doesn't look quite as 'cottagecore' as I would like. I plan to include a lush garden area with outdoor furniture too.
Sims 4 Wish List:
> Option to toggle on/off random townie generation.
> Turn vacation worlds into residential worlds.
> Option to purchase separate worlds or a world pack.
I just realized a plus to the animals being tied to items: maybe we can make a petting zoo community lot with them? Instead of having to own the animal or visit another sim's farm, you can have a small petting zoo inside your local park.
The Sims 4 hasn't introduced a new musical instrument since 2017

That's a great idea! I hope it works out that way!
I swear, I dreamed Sims last night. And then i woke up and it's only June 11th. 😓 I waaaaaaaant it noooooooooow! (Just channeling my inner Veruca Salt)
I'm really stoked about this pack though. It just seems like its the kind of world I'd really really love (I'm not big on city life or crowds) but I'm an absolute sucker for British period dramas and historical novels. I've been watching "Victorian Farm" lately which is a docuseries about a historian and 2 archeologists spending a year on an old Victorian working farm. As an archeologist major myself, I would LOVE to do that sort of thing, and Henford on Bagley can come pretty close.
I've got an idea for a legacy storyline, so I guess the time between the announcement and release can let me set it up since it doesn't really follow the legacy challenge rules. Hoping we get lots and lots of info for the next month or so.
You just started a singing contest at my job...who can remember the most Willy Wonka lyrics. Ha!
(not that I'm really a diabolical racoon .... or am I? )
It's obvious that you're a mask wearing horse.
Oh shucks, my cover's blown.
I can't wait to have a llama. Maybe 2. One will be Emperor Cuzco (because The Emperor's New Groove is one of my favorite animated movies) and the other shall be named Drama. Drama Llama. 🤣

When Drama eventually goes on to greener pastures, you can name one More Drama, and then Neverending Drama, and so on forever.
My username has been my internet handle for over 20 years since I was 16 and refers to when I had a crush on a very tall boy. I intend absolutely no violence toward beautiful giraffes.

Oh gosh, that reminds me of the 2012 Triple Crown. The Derby/Preakness winner was named I'll Have Another, and everyone thought it was about beer, but I knew the trainer and the story behind it was the owner's wife would always ask her husband if he wanted another cookie, and he'd say he would have another. So the next year, they had a horse named Know More (Cookies), and then also because one of the other trainers said he had enough of the first horse, the owners of the first horse named one He's Had Enough (who went by Pirate in the barn)
This isn't exactly what I was expecting from a farming/country living pack, but I'm super excited about being able to grow pumpkins. I can finally create a real pumpkin patch for a fall themed community lot. I'm also super excited families can cook together. The build/buy stuff is gorgeous, and I'm thrilled they added the produce growing contest. It looks like there might also be a cooking contest or something based on the pedestals with pies. Not sure though. The animals look great.
I'm low key hoping for more interactions in the water given that there is more swimable water. I'm super excited about this pack. My merfolk and elementals will be fun to play in this pack.

Yes, I read that we can also enter pies into the contest. I wonder what else can be entered.
Seeing things like this make me pretty happy. Sometimes I think with the game being so large and having so many packs that it can become quite difficult for the devs to remember to weave all the packs together, so I love this!
I'd love it if playing darts was added as a like or dislike as it's a staple in any old fashioned British pub. Then I could start a Darts playing club!

I remember how little information there was on "info from SimGurus" and now...
Just look at the list on Sims Community!

A vixen in our neighborhood had 3 kits, and they come and play in our backyard sometimes.
One small correction, though. The pack is available to buy immediately; just can't play it until the 22nd.
