2020 VALENTINE’S DAY/LOVE DAY -Your Favorite Sim Couples

I know, I know; it’s way too early but in my defence it’s Jan. 17.
Show your favourite couples. It could be your typical game matched couples (Thornton/Morgana Wolff, Gus and Dorie Hart, etc) or it could be any of your original character couples. No limit to how many couples you can show.

Some of the Sims couples that stand out in my mind...
Iain and Maeve Wallace live a quiet life on a big farm (my first game where I used the Store tractor) from which they sell crops, nectar and raise horses. They are eternally faithful and adore one another, have two children, Tristan and Ainsley, and a bazillion pets. Here they are on their wedding day:
Another favorite couple of mine was Sphinx Aeron and Melanthe Crowe, although they never married and weren’t together very long. Among other things, Melanthe is grumpy, brooding, neurotic and perfectionist; not the easiest to get along with! And Sphinx was a player in his youth, lol. Also, she’s a witch and he’s a fairy-genie hybrid, so they were constantly casting spells on and pranking each other. Eventually they split, but their romance was passionate and memorable. And Sphinx has always been a nurturing father to his kids, including Maxim, the son he had with Melanthe.
A more unconventional couple is Ransom and Journey (Garner) Reaves. He’s a thief and she runs interference when he swipes stuff, while he supports her on her tomb-raiding travels. The heirs from their legacy will rule the criminal underworld of Bridgeport for generations to come. They’re just taking an innocent, romantic selfie here and definitely not scoping out this section of the shop for a future gem and jewelry heist...

I have a few more favourite couples who I play a lot with, but I always come back to Travis and Haldir and their kids.

@starguru; can’t say it’s been a bed of roses, but we took our vows seriously and got through those tough times when we could have split up. Yup. Twenty years is a long time. Hopefully whoever is up there sees fit to give us forty, or if I’m lucky enough...fifty.

I hear ya, and same. Life tends to throw a lot of unexpected obstacles in your path. Hubby and I have weathered much ourselves, but those storms have served to make us stronger, more determined and more devoted. We'll celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this May, and like you and your wife, will tackle the trials together to have as many more years as may be. Best wishes to you both!

Tragic villains from the past. Ruyue was a cult thug, Vali was a heresy assassin. Vali killed by an outlaw, Alan Nalan(a yandere vampire who I have created in TS4, he is based on a spree killer form a Chinese urban legend), because he showed clear hostility towards his junior. Then Ruyue became a vampire with him forever, even though this cult rejected her.
Then hundreds of years passed...

My simself and her husband from a save I had before I had to stop playing for a little while due to game problems. The save ended up being corrupted, so I had to scrap the family.
My favorite couple had to be Hank Goddard and my favorite Sim I made, Ava Sinclair Goddard. I still play different versions of her ever since I made her but this save is done. I'll share a few more tomorrow.
Okay, the woman's name I forgot but I know the man is Bryce something. The female was made by CravenLestat but when I had computer issues, I ended up losing her.
This couple was from my Ultimate Sims challenge attempt. My US was Brittany Steel and her first husband was Christopher Steel.
Further along in that save, they had a daughter named Lauren and she married the son of Marty and Justine Keaton. Lauren was probably one of my favorite Sims, although I don't have her anymore either.
Brittany's second husband was George Dean, and although Christopher was my favorite husband of hers, I liked her with George as well.
Her third husband was from University, I forgot his name though since it has been a while.
This was Brittany's fourth boyfriend, but he had a weird alien name so he became known as Allen. Shortly after this, my computer issues started and I lost the save completely.
Another favorite couple of mine was the Sims based off Jor-El and Lara from Superman comics. I did a Sims version of Superman's story for awhile but never ended up getting very far.
Another favorite couple was Christopher Steel and Blair Wainwright. I thought they make a great couple, especially since they are two of my favorite Sunset Valley townies.
Viorel is Valentin's senior, Ruo is Ruyue's senior. But they are Vali and Ruyue's opposites. Viorel just makes use of Ruo to find Vali, and tries to suppress his love, Ruo dating Viorel because he is looks like Jiuquan, Ruyue's older brother, Ruo's deceased crush.
