Just wanted to let everyone know... The latest update has completely broken the Acting career. It's no longer viable until it gets patched again. Required prep tasks for acting gigs get wiped out every time you go to another lot. Since you have to go to another lot to actually DO the gigs, they are now impossible to complete.

Choose Your Helmet They removed the random Helmet from the Game as it seems. I was not sure if i should do that as well so i added an Addon instead where NPCs should not wear an Helmet unless you have chosen one of the Helmets for them via this Mod (in other played Households)

I have two weird things: My menu graphics are all borked, so that the buttons are hard to read. I'm also having an issue that spellcasters are going faceless in CAS, and ONLY spellcasters. Any ideas what mods might be broken?

I like the No autonomous drinking, but it seems like my sims have traded drinking for handwashing. At least it doesn't leave glasses all over the house but they don't need to spend that time washing their hands. I looked for a way to message her but it says she only accepts messages from people she follows so I don't know how to tell her about this.

Did you delete the localthumbcache.package file when you installed the new mod to clear out old animations? Also, have you played with no other mods but the No Autonomous Drinking Mod in your game and does the problem still exist?
Is anyone else still having the problem that Sim's dates won't eat when you invite them out, especially when you order them a drink? I know it was a known issue on EA answers HQ, but I thought this was fixed with latest patch.

The thing is that once you block one obsessive action, the sims will find something else to spend their autonomous time on - in one of my saves, they're obsessed with dancing to the stereo, in another, they're obsessed with the computers. Unless they have a creative trait, then they're obsessed with painting - as long as there's a free easel because they can't autonomously paint on the sketchpad.

That makes sense, considering that I only had that one mod and had cleared my caches. (And they do obsessively paint, which is why I have 8 easels for the 2 of them! If only they didn't want to *start* new paintings instead of working on ones that are already there.)

I have the second issue too. I noticed that it typically happens when teens or kids have school. Does anyone else know what might be causing this? I use quite a few pieces of script mods, and I've updated all the most common ones (SOL, MCC, UI, Meaningful Stories, the recently updated LittleMsSam mods, etc) but this problem still persists. I just tried updating [Kuttoe] Traits and Scarlet_NoPregnancyWalk to see how it works, can't find any other mods I think might be broken right now, I'll update if I find the culprit!

Hi, this forum is great! It has been so helpful! I was just wondering, are the un-updated cc careers okay to use? I know that the tool by Neia hasn't yet been updated, but I was wondering if it was still okay to play them in game. If it would just make my Sims have zero pay, I can deal with it. Will playing my game file with the un-updated cc careers corrupt the file? I really miss playing it! :)

That was fixed in the last patch. Make sure your game is up to date.

It's a known bug, caused by having the maid (or sometimes some other service) show up while some sims in the household are off lot. The current work-around is to fire the maid while they're on property.
