Here are some more links I got on my iPad so it will be easier to download on my computer. For those who are using these as well I don’t have any of the pre order items ,very few of the promotional and sharing memories items. Some I just could not find so you will still want to check if you have anything else not on this list. Also some items I could only find in my purchase history those I wrote down the page and settings they will be different for anyone else. I hope this will still be of help to others as well as me thanks!

@KleineMuff - yes, file sizes vary and even the order you install the files will make a difference. You might try to install the venue and then the world to see if it's smaller that way. I'd not chance it, though it is just barely over the limit. I'd redo it.
After reading this, I need to redo some EBC files as some were a tad over.
PLEASE FIX TEENS IN TS4! I NEED YOUNGER TEENS NOT YA TEENS! (^_^)Please add Music Bands with lead singers! Please add vehicles and garages! Vehicles have always been part of The Sims.
Some of the furniture have decoration on them that you can't remove with CASt. Some items have different choices in the decoration. Those are stencils.
I am sorting following this along with the video made by ZeeGee, do you need to do an "Add/Remove" of the game first? Or is the creation of the new Electronic Arts folder enough to start with? When I open mine after it makes a new one, there is no installed content listed but my expansions are shown and no game update appears to need to be installed.
How does that patch get installed? Is it an update that isnt automatically there? My launcher says Version 1.69.43.024017. It needs to say 2.2?
Also with the mention of the Sandy Shoals Wallpaper, is it ok to install the entire Sandy Shoals then? Or just do the Wallpaper only at that step. I assume because all of its parts are found in other downloads that's why the Wallpaper.. But How do you get the entire Sandy Shoals building if you don't download it?
I see this part on the spreadsheet
"I install lots in an empty Sims 3 folder and copy library files to avoid duplicate installs."
But I dont understand how to install just the lot?
@EverclearBoy - There are two different types of patches. The 1.69 is a game patch. The 2.2 is store patch. You only need the store patch to install later store content. (Sometimes it installs better in a brand new sims 3 folder.) Though, I don't use 1.69 (I'm on 1.67), so maybe the store patch is already there in your game. Look in your contentPatch folder and see if you have a package file that is 7,976 in size.
You have to change the name of your sims 3 folder and load your game to create a new sims 3 folder. Then in the brand new sims 3 folder, install Sandy Shoals. Then copy the library file that was created in that new sims 3 folder to the library file in your other sims 3 folder where you've installed everything. That puts the lot in your bin. Then, you can delete that new sims 3 folder and rename your old one back to sims 3 now with all your installed content and Sandy Shoals (without all the duplicate files that would have been put in your .ebc file).
@EverclearBoy@ciane for patch 1.69 you'll find the Store Content Patch using this pathway
Program Files(x86 if you have 64 bit OS otherwise just Program Files)>Origin Games>The Sims 3>Game Data>Shared>Packages it'll be in there with the Delta Builds and Full Builds
The Store Content Patch comes with 1.69 but you'll find in Program Files it'll no longer be in the Documents>The Sims 3 game folder
I'm just a little bit crazy LOL
Okay actually I'm totally and completely nuts LOL
K so if I understand this right. I do that at the end once I have all the ebc files set I don't have to worry about that at the start of doing this. When you say library file. That's one of those files with all the random letters? Is there only one in particular I'm looking for since I assume in the new folder its going to have multiple items for all the stuff that is part of Sandy Shoals?
Thanks Ciane!
Also is it bad if the first ebc isnt filled to the 204k total? If it was 100k (because I dont have all the worlds) Would it be bad if the 2nd was 204k?
@Scott Ok so with the 1.69 I don't need to even worry about the store content patch?, Cool thanks!
@EverclearBoy - Yes, do it after you install everything else in a fresh sims 3 folder. The library file will just be one file. All the store stuff within the lot that is installed with it go into .ebc files, which you'll have already installed in your other sims 3 folder; so you don't copy over those.
If you don't install Riverview, you'll be missing a lot of content. Plus, I really think it's a great world to play. My forum post shouldn't have RV crossed out. Only the way you combine the worlds and content in your game might change. Originally, I didn't know that the file sizes had to stay under that magic 204,800 kb mark. So I had to adjust which worlds I installed together in the same .ebc file. Sometimes just the order you install them in will make a difference and you'll go over that magic number for file size. When that happens, you have delete that .ebc file and reinstall that content in a different way, order, or combination.
What if I don't have an entire Compilation but only parts of it, do I need to individually download those parts from the Comp? Or do I click the link the item is from and download it from there instead (especially if it's an entire set within a comp) (As long as there is no intention to ever get the entire compilation) I don't see what to do with the Gentleman's Lounge Collection, but I assume since that contains various parts from other sets that it'll all be there and there is no point in getting them from the Gentleman's Lounge Collection?
For example the Nov 2011 Compilation Set I don't own. But due to having got the Gentleman's Lounge and the Eloquently Eclectic Collection I have the Fissile Material End Table and Hydro Fission Aquarium.
Also once I started the game for the first time, In the DCCache it made two files "dcdb4.ebc.tmp" and "dcdb6.ebc.tmp" is that normal?
Did you download the game from Origin or was it originally a disc install. Or was the game already installed before you patched to 1.69?
Try Program Files>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Game Data>Shared Packages
I'm just a little bit crazy LOL

If you don't plan to get the compilations later, then yes, just install the sets you have from them first. Then, install the single pieces you do have. Some of the compilations are just pieces from other sets and compilations; so, no, there is no reason to get them. Yes, you can use the links to compilations and just download the parts you have.
Starting a brand new sims 3 folder AFTER renaming the old sims 3 folder means you won't have any ebc files.
If you already have a 4 and a 6, then you already have installed content in that folder.
The .tmp files are created whenever you use the launcher and access the exchange through uploading and/or downloading content. (Just installing store content creates no .tmp files for me on patch 1.67. I can't verify what it does on patch 1.69; BUT those ebc.tmp files are always safe to delete as they are just dups of .ebc files.
Is there any harm in not having ebc's in numerical order? i.e. 1,2,3,4. Will it cause any problems if I follow the spreadsheet and for example if I have nothing shown in the EBC 3 file for that, I create an EBC 4 that follows what the spreadsheet has. So then I end up having for example:
EBC 0,1,2,4,5,7,8
I'm close to having Bayside Kitchen and my line of thinking is once I get that, I can just put the EBC number the spreadsheet shows that in back to the DCCache, install Bayside then and then just rename it to the correct EBC number again so won't have to start fresh?
@EverclearBoy - The ebc files go in order as you install them. You don't have to put the same stuff in your first .ebc file that I put in mine. But you should first install the biggest stuff like worlds first. Then the second largest file sizes are the compilations and combined sets. Third in size are the individual sets, and lastly, the individual stuff.
If you plan to get a world or compilation or set later, and you want to leave room for it in a certain .ebc file, that is fine. Otherwise, my spreadsheet is just an example of how I did it with the links or urls to make downloading and tracking easier.
@EverclearBoy Just to add to what Ciane said, you can’t skip a number or the game will not recognize the content after the Skipped number. What you can do is renumber them later if you want to be in the exact order that Ciane has them.
Well I had completely redone my videos to update the information that needed to be updated, and edited it so there wasn’t so much dead space and empty chat. I had it on an external hard drive and it crashed. So much work down the drain
Ok I finally finished all the EBC stuff, now I'm at the part with the Lots. I renamed the Sims Folder, opened Launcher and it made a new folder. I downloaded and installed Sandy Shoals. So now I go to the Folder "Library" and move the package file that is in there out and put that in the same folder of the original Sims Folder I worked on. I don't do anything at all with the files the Sandy Shoals installed into the DCCache?
If I have that right.. then I do the same thing with the Quaint Cottage Collection? Or does that not actually have a Lot in it?
Do you have to do anything special with the Aurora Skies Festival Lot or the Stoney Falls near the Old Mill Lot?
Thanks again for the help.
I bought the Collectors Edition waaaay back in the day that came with that Plumbob Flash drive but life got busy and I didn't play for a long while. The game was shown in my Origin bin so I usually launch the game from that, but I let my cousins kids play the game and they have my original disc. So I don't know if that is why my folders are different. I don't have a GameData or SharedPackages folder.
