Honestly I don't know what else possibly could be next, since that the packs that contain active jobs (Get To Work), nights out in the town(City Life), hobbies/clubs(Get Together), pets (Cats and Dogs) and seasons/weather (Seasons) are released, those five are core additions.
So yes I hope these 2 are next, since that would complete the circle, but I honestly wouldn't know.
ETA - My daughter-in-law agrees with the Witch GP - but thinks the ep will be fame and show business oriented.

In REALITY, I simply exist.....
We really have no hints about what might be coming next, although some are convinced that a beach is coming due to some free tropical stuff (why would they give us free tropical stuff if a beach pack is on the way?).
It will be fun to see who's a better guesser.
No idea about the next EP but I don't really want university because I'm so tired of this "YOUNG ADULTS HAVING PARTIESSSSSSSSSSSSS" theme the Sims 4 has had for 2 years straight. We even had an EP dedicated to just that; parties. The moment the game switched to focusing on the other life states instead of just young adults (2017 toddlers patch started this shift), the quality of the game immensly rose.
Voted for the 4th option.
It's more likely that the next GP might be more supernatural in themed, perhaps a magic pack, with witches.
Highly likely, or an Education themed EP of some sort.

Doesn't tell me much, unless you want to start poking at what kind of "theme" the hairstyle is supposed to represent
1. I however would rather have farming since they have said they would like to do things not done in the Sims before. They lightly touched on it in S3, but my hope is that they make barns, machinery-tractors(old/poor to really nice), plow, farmer's market, farmer career(sell livestock & harvestables), well, animals-cows, chickens, goats, pigs for sure and others if they can. I really want fences- cheap stick, board(straight and the x type criss cross), barb wire, and electric, which causes new death if you don't let go aka easy way to kill a sim off, not that I've done that more than once. (I did it in S3 with the casino gold digger; pool; felt bad about it). Also, if the sheds, barns and silos can hold supplies, that would be neat. I hope that they don't take away from animals/machinery aka bloating the pack with bb & CAS. Farming is about work, animals, selling, collecting crops, not all the fillers. But, if they put all that in, then a small amount of the rest would be a nice complement.- a board wall covering, stick wall covering, farm type clothes/overall for all even toddlers, churn, canning, rag dolls for girls, granny hair, granny stockings, walking sticks. 64x64 lots pleaseeeeeeeee
2. Careers is something that I would like in order- housebuilding, stylist, interior decorator, babysitting, us be the nanny, and please bring back the grocery store with all items there to buy like in S3 for those who don't like getting them the hard way.
3. Would also like exercising to be done right and bring in all new exercise equipment.
a stepper(two places for your feet and basically you go up and down like walking)

ability to do mountain climbers & jumping jacks
sit down ab twister that goes side to side

small balls and weights for hand exercise

mini exercise trampoline
chair that you lay on and hold on and pull yourself into a v

4. All about the kids- riders from S3 brought back along with all the yard play stuff, baby dolls for girls, bikes, tricycles, infants free, sling to carry them in, having their own clothes/hairstyles, passies, and all the stuff from the S3 for them like the mat, stroller, babybed, swing.
Yessssssssssssss. Really sick of it. I don't even mess with the bar stuff and hate that it is in with the cooking career. I don't even place the bars in any of my houses or business lots. I also think it is a bad influence on young simmers. I will say, that I even though I don't care for any of that, I do absolutely love the free tiki bar for early S4 sign up. I think it is so cute and would look great on the beach scene. It is the one bar that I place occasionally.

Should we also talk about cake girls, and ridiculous bucks/hens parties? The game was never meant to be vanilla PG. Remove the pool ladder, drown your sims. Remember? Good influence, right?

GP7 - Summer Vacation - No. We only got vacation pack in february.
I'd actually prefer more things for adult/single lifestyles, more life states, more challenges... even more for teens. But something weird and potentially dark would hold my interest.
University? Yes.
I crave to see things other than another watered down holiday destinations
I don't want another pack like that. a fuller pack like IP would be nice.
outdoor restate and jungle adventure just isn't worth it for me.
these holiday packs are poor compared to the other past two holiday expansion packs and the sims 3 IP.
this game is so terrible starved of features even with both GPS/EPS
expansion packs are smaller than ever
game packs only focus on one theme, where past expansion focus on multiple features.
no wonder the games still a bag on bones and as been extended another three years

However, with the recent internal changes at EA, there is no way of knowing if we will see a second Gamepack in 2018 at all. My prediction: next Gamepack in the first half of 2019. No Idea what the Theme could be, but I( am waiting for Witches. (Which I expect to come even later)
Keep in mind SimGuruNinja just released a picture of a new hairstyle. He's working on Gamepacks.
People are being pulled from the Stuffpack team to be able to continue the EPs. Until I am proven wrong, I will assume that development time for all packs will now be longer because there are less people working with less resources and have to reach the same level of quantity and quality the packs already have had so far.
