Thanks @rosemow@FoundMarbles@Ainsleyf@carolynrosser I'm not sure what's gone wrong. I've double checked the settings and tried copying the links a few times but that message keeps coming up. I might have to save them on another site...
edit: ok it seems to be working now (fingers crossed) but please let me know if that message comes up again.
It's working, @folala! I think it looks great! I love the little shop and all the rustic decor. So many great details, like the swampy-looking water in the swimming pool. Great job!
Hello @folala It is great seeing the extra pictures of your build! The village is so very creatively designed, both the outdoors areas and inside the homes and shop! The furnishing of each of the homes looks so very nice! The wall textures give a great look and feel to the homes. Very nice design of the shop! The brambles vines on the walls look great! Your elves are very nice sims
Each of the areas of the build look very great!
@Folala - It's awesome. Love the dirt floors and the pic of the girl swimming in muck, and I was looking SO HARD to see if you remembered the bog rolls in the toilet...but couldn't tell. Love that they're made out of turf. Way Cool!
@Twiggy...went in for a closer look. BOTH your builds are gorgeous. The purple lighting is great and your towers are beautiful. Nice work!! Really love the dining hall too. Your inworld photo ability is far beyond mine as well. NICE!
@Carolynrosser Santa's elves is an awesome idea. I got such a kick out of your comments and cc and I NEEEED that medieval cookstove. The blow up pool and barbeque in the snow is the bomb. AND that comment about nothing being able to stop the welcome wagon killed me. Very Fun!
@Foundmarbles - I BELIEVE! Haha! How cool is that - Mazelike hedges that you can live in and the great dark floors. Some awesome terrain painting as well! NEAT!!
@Fabtiffsim - LOVE the bluffs. that's some awesome roof work and it's so dark and wonderfully creepy. Of course I LOVE the tarot cards with the crow! Very Cool!!
@24Lunaa - What can I say, it's absolutely beautiful. All the lines and intricacy and waterfalls and rivers and the fantastic roofwork. It looks downright Elven, in the most wonderful way. Amazing!!! And I like your story too! Very fun..in a twisted way - kinda Pratchett!

Back story: My build is based off one of my lego elves set i have, its very colourfull. So i made sure i used lots of bright lego colours, out the back in the garden is the fire and ice gardens. Ive spread all the necessities out across the build. I feel this creation of mine is more Creativity rather then quality

The design and layout The Block Elves looks very great! @leashahampton It looks so very colourful and it is very creative! It also has a lot of quality in it. The colourful trees, and the enlarged plants and flowers look great in the bulld! The large spinning flowers look very pretty! The towers look great! Very nice sitting area with the purple columns. The ice garden looks very nice with the enlarged white and blue crystals. The purple curtains and large Easter egg look nice in the build.
It is great that you based your build on your Lego elves set. It is a colourfully nice build!

Back story: Long ago, a village grew up around a mysterious tree flanked by a glittering lake. Each of the five homes is connected by walkways, and in the back is a community center perfect for music, games, and feasts, along with a public garden.

Elven Village looks very nice! @phantasmkiss Very nice layout of the build! It looks great the way the homes have been built around the Sylvan Glade tree! The raised pathways platforms connecting the homes to the tree area and to each other look great! The lake areas look very nice. It looks very nice how the hedging borders the grassy areas. The exteriors of the homes look very nice! The hedging on the roof of some of the homes looks very nice .The towers are nice touches on the corners of the village build .
It is a very creative build!
Again such great elven villages. I think it's awesome to see these palaces and villages both the naturally colored interpretations as the colorful ones are magnificent and so creative!
And thank you @Ainsleyf You're making me blush. I love your backstory btw and the pics of your WIP are mesmerizing!
Oh, here's a tip when it comes to the in-game photo ability you've mentioned.
Do you make your pictures when playtesting the build with a household? If you do, when in live mode, press Tab. With that, you can take pictures from just about any angle. Use the WASD keys to rotate and move. Move up or down using the Q and E key on your keyboard, press C, and presto! I hope this helps.
Oh my gawrsh...I thought the deadline was today. Oops. So my weekend plans fell through and I worked on the build til 3AM so..I'm going to edit my prior post with the backstory to include an entry anyway..it can always be unofficial.
@Thanks so very much @Twiggy. RE: photo tips; I do that...you just have a better eye for what works in a pic I guess.
@leashahampton I love your build. The colors are awesome. Nice! I didn't even know we could have purple pillars..Yay!!
@Phantasmkiss..it's fantastic..all the levels and stuff going on. That walkway to the center shot is wonderfully dramatic. Awesome!!
@folala Very lovely build! I love the swampy nature of the land, and how the homes seamlessly are integrated to the landscape. It all looks so natural, that I could be hiking one day and just stumble upon these cute little elves and their homes. Great work! @leashahampton Very creative and colourful take on the theme! I'm going to be honest, I had to google what Lego elves specifically were, but you definitely captured that essence in your build! Its such a fun home! @phantasmkiss I absolutely love your multiple floating walkways and stairs around the natural environment! What a neat idea to have the village centred around one massive, ancient tree. Beautiful! Great multi-level pools too!
And thank you @twiggy for the camera tip, I was wondering too how you took such great photos.
oh my goodness @Ainsleyf. Your build is incredible! The colours are so majestic and magical (and great choice using the night shots, it really pops!), you made such cool designs using the wall lights, the towers are amazing (seriously love those), and overall fantastic layout. Even if you have haven't completely finished the furnishings, the interiors looks really cool. bravo!
Glad you got your moon shot! And hahah love the little mention of King Elphame and my properties! Thanks that's so sweet
Elven Keep is such a very creatively designed Elven Village! @Ainsleyf The exterior design, the colours used throughout the build, the outdoors water features, the plants, and the furnishing of each of the interior room areas all look so very ,very nice! It is such a very detailed build! Very grand dining hall! The long dining table, the wall patten and the lights wall strip looks so very nice! It is a very nice touch that there is a wedding Chapel in the village. It was very nice looking at all the photos of your build. The moon is a special touch in the photos! Though you hadn't finished furnishing the build, it looks so very, very great!
It is a very nice and very creative Elven Village build!
