    Desert Hacienta - Three bedroom/2 bath one story

    My sim family has grown & grown and I find it rather annoying to constantly be changing floors so I made this house with that in mind. I thought I would share it with all of you. I welcome all comments, even criticisms.

    I really like how this kitchen turned out. I call it mellow yellow kitchen, and it is available in the gallery separately as well.

    This is a view of the living room & dining room taken from the kitchen.

    Master bedroom. The fireplace is suppose to be a 2-sided fireplace shared with the living room and this is the closest I could get to it.

      Really like the modern twist on this house. It has a bit of both worlds and just simply looks amazing :) great job!

      Desert Hacienda is a very nice home! :) The exterior of it looks great! Nice texture of the exterior and the flower box windows on the front of the home looks very nice. It looks very nice how you have done the front patio and entrance area! The fencing there looks great and it looks nice how you have placed the plants on the edges of the fence. The front door wuth the windows either side of it looks very effective! It looks nice that you have placed plants either side of the front door for sims to enjoy seeing when entering the home. Sims will enjoy sitting outdoors in the sunshine on the seat benches there. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! The coat stand and shoes rack is a nice homely touch inside near the front door. The yellow and turquoise colours that you have used through the home looks very nice! Very nice design and furnishing of the kitchen! The yellow, black and turquoise colours you have used there, combined with the textured kitchen walls looks great! The cutlery on the wall looks nice and the yellow flowers looks very sunny. Very nice living and dining rooms. The fruit bowl on the dining table looks nice there and the yellow dining seats look great. Very nice master bedroom. Nice colours and patterns that you have used for the bed and floor rug. Nice sitting area for sims to enjoy sitting resting in front of the fireplace. It looks nice how you have placed the sofa in front of the fire and the armchairs either side of the fireplace. The butterflies picture on the wall is pretty for sims to see when in the bedroom. Very nice master bathroom.It looks great that you have used the triangular bath tub, and the way you have placed the sink counters in the bathroom looks very nice! Very nice study! It looks very nice how you have placed the bookcases either side of the tv table. It looks great how you have placed the seats in the room, for sims to enjoy sitting watching tv or reading a book from the bookcase. Great study desk table nook for sims to enjoy using the computer at the desk table. The colours and types of the seats look nice.
      It is a very nice home! :)

      At first glance I thought the rugs in the bathroom were all puddles from messy sims o_0 lol. Good work.

      @Kendra326 Thank you. I love the kitchen too. Silly sims though, they don't seem to like to eat in the kitchen. They take their plate and bypass the dining room table too and sit in the living room on the couch to eat.

      I usually am not into colors and darker colors, but you made it work amazingly. I love the golden warm wooden floor, the graphite bricks in the kitchen and yellow kitchen/teal wall combo. It works pretty amazing. It's not too dark, it's not too light and colors compliment each other in a beautiful way. I love the entryway too. This yellow looks great.

      I think it looks so good because you're not afraid to use lighter floor even when you use darker wooden furniture (desk and bookshelves) and also this white baseboard only adds to it. Lovely home.

      I love you house it is very nice, I love the colors, I also love that it has a little Spanish look to it. the insides is beautiful. I love how we can make so many nice houses in Sims 4, thanks for sharing.

      I have never been happy with the roof of my house, but everything else I tried I didn't like any better. It wasn't until @BlackRoseBronwen posted the most adorable adobe starter that the lightbulb went off that I could do that with my house as well.       Oh wow! I LOVE the colors you used for this desert hacienda. They make me want to book a trip to Mexico right away. But then there's that credit card I have to pay off. Beautiful job!

      Your Desert Hacienta build looks great :) I love the bold, bright colours of the interior it looks very stylish and gives the house a really vibrant feel to it! The exterior also looks great, and fits in very well with the surrounding desert neighbourhood, its a great home! :)
