Tip for those who have the hanging problem when the deal changes... When the timer gets down to 2 seconds, click on the items page. If the DD price isn't showing on it's page yet, hit refresh. Though almost every time the DD price is always up by the time the page comes up. This works for me every time on those fast ones.
I'm just popping in to share a tip, which may already have been shared. If you're not getting points for your ads, use Chrome. I get no points in Firefox or IE (since maintenance, probably when they put new adds in or something) but I've gotten points in Chrome for every single ad. Everyone I've shared this tip with also gets points in Chrome. Hope this helps!

Omigosh! Did you guys see what's on the DD tonight?? The uber sani-sim toilet! Why oh why do these things always come up when I'm going to bed? I think the site is out to get me. I never, ever thought they'd put that precious, precious rarity on sale ever.

Doubly so if it went into detail about the problems - case in point; I think someone said that the problem with the tiki idol (or was it the Variegated Ceramic Vase?) was actually the EA pattern that came with it. So would a recolored item upload properly, or would the old pattern stick to the build like that TSR counter? Heck, is the idol CAStable in the first place? (Asks the girl who owns all the Tiki stuff but hasn't gotten around to playing with it yet.)
It was the tiki idol for Lauren, for me it was the Musubi Hunter arcade game. These cause no problems in game but would not let the lot upload. I posted a long time ago my tips for finding the problem without ripping apart the whle build,I'll try to find that later. Also I am pretty sure there is a list somewhere on problem children items.... Will try to find that too.
But grrrr, why 39%?! I almost hit that buy button, but my lower limit is 40% (and I'm thinking about increasing that to 45% these days). I swear, the Store is mocking me! At least I managed to resist ... this time. We'll have to see what happens when we go into rotation! :shock:

I think I was lucky with MMAO today. It finally offered me Lucky Palms for 63 % plus 3 pieces of clothes. I had a hard time deciding if I take it or not as it was just the standard edition. But finally I went for it. I was waiting for LP now since the last time it was offered (in March) and I didn't had enough simpoints. Well, now I have to hope for the casino. 8)
Just a quick question does the Seeing Stars set or its subset show up in the MMAO because I know the items from the set do but I can't remember if the full sets do or not?
I didn't see anyone answer this. I get items from Seeing Stars and Show Stopping Styles so so often on MMAO, but I'm actually not sure if I've ever gotten offered the whole sets. So, I'm not helpful on that. But they are on the DD list:
Seeing Stars should show up twice, Show Stopping Styles once, and the Liar Liar pants once. Show Stopping Styles already went by on this rotation, and there's no saying whether this list will go around again, but maybe. Glancing down the list, I don't see the other items having come up yet, so they should. This list should go on for something like 100 more items unless they stop it midway through, as they did the last rotation.
Don't forget those sets are not CYS enabled (yet? there's a petition to enable CYS on them).

Ok. I did not find a list of items yet, but I found a bunch of threads discussing problems uploading with items from tiki sets.
I did find my method for finding a problem object:
I suggest you save a copy of your lot to bin. Empty one room, try to upload. Keep emptying the rooms till it uploads (IMPORTANT: name it Test1, Test 2or any such thing, else you may have trouble uploading your "real" lot with the right name.) Now replace your lot with the saved one in bin (so you don't lose all the rooms you gutted). Now delete items in the culprit room a few at a time. Try uploading. Keep narrowing it down till you find the evil item. The only snafu with this: the awful chance it could be two items! Not likely. Anyway, just try one room at a time, however it's easiest for you. It's much easier than one item at a time. I hope this made sense and hope it works.
Also, I have read that uninstalling the tiki sets, and redownloading them as individual items solves the issue.
FYI, if you recolor an item and upload it, the "old" pattern does not "stick" to it like the messy TSR counters, so no worries. I have used that variegated vase many, many times and never had upload problems; however, I am a crazy recolor-er so I'm sure I never tried to upload with the EA pattern lol. I don't think I recolored the arcade game so I don't know if that would have been a problem.
