I always advocate buy now, pay later. As in, buy now, and kick yourself when you see it's 75% off or something ridiculous like that. :P

I do believe it might be worth waiting for origin stuff to come down though. (I mean EPs, Worlds, Simpoints, etc.) They seem to move pretty conservatively compared to the store.

well 589 SimPoints was a good deal! lol oh well..next time :D

    Grandpa's Grove was 589sp 69% discount

ETA: I already had the tractor but I was willing to buy it for this price because it seems like as good as a CYS deal.

Probably won't get more amazing than it is now, if you still have time.

Edit: snagged it - couldn't resist at that price.

Holy cow! Yes it was! I was afraid I'd miss it, because I actually left it to the last minute to buy simpoints and my browser was so slow! 91% sold now too!

Neither could I. It's not a venue I was dying for, but that price was too good.

It ended after 5 minutes in, with 1:55.?? remaining.

Can some one explain to me how to make the name of the item into a clickable link?

I guess the Sims website doesn't like some words?!?!

In my excitement over getting Grandpa's Grove I forgot a few things. I think I am done!

How to make them stop censoring reasonable words?

URLs? Here's what I do (Mia, this is for you too):
Open a tab for the item (right click and choose to open it in an incognito window if you own the item - that way prices and percentages show up)
Copy & paste the name of the item
    Highlight it with your mouse
Click on the URL button above the text box
    type "=" after "[url"
Copy & paste the URL of the item right after the = sign
Preview to make sure it worked okay.

    Voila!
Just did the ones in your post.

Edit: I just clarified this a bit. Also, Judy, do you think it might be worth adding these instructions to something on the first page, for those who want to be helpful but don't know how?

Edit 2 had wrong name on this!

Lol, I popped onto the website and misread Full Interior Castle Set as having an hour and fifty-four minutes left instead of a minute and fifty-four seconds. I figured it'd be ample time to make a bathroom run and do a few other things before seeing if Grandpa's Grove was cheap enough to buy. Needless to say, Grandpa's Grove was over by the time I made it back to my computer.

Well, if the list repeats, I'll go for it then. Congratulations to everyone who got it!

Frye, I`m sorry that you --- and maybe others too --- missed Granpa`s Grove.

Let`s hope that the (already long)list will return.
I missed some other deals and would like to get them.
    Have a nice day!

Aww, sorry Frye. And darn you for making me wish this list repeats!

I'm hereby dubbing this the "Frankenstein's Monster" list. It's made up of of a dead list that got combined with another dead list, with some new things added in, all revived into something new(ish), pretty clumsy, but with odd moments of lovability.

It's always good if a list repeats, so people can be ready for things they want. I stayed up 3 hours longer than I wanted to, just to catch Grandpa's, and I didn't even know if it would be a price I liked. :)

I just discovered that MMAO CAN offer Midnight Hollow! I wasn't it was even possible, all those times it offered Lucky Palms and LP Gold.
But it's Standard and has only a 42% discount - probably one of the lowest discounts I've seen all week.

I probably would have gone for it! I've only been offered MH a few times (both standard and gold) but always for less than 30% off. I'm not sure if I want to spend the extra points for gold, as the only gold exclusive item I want is the toy shop which I hope will be available for sale separately eventually. Most of the time I get offered Aurora Skies and Sunlit Tides, but unless they are 85% off or higher, I'm not really interested in them!

That's true, Mia. I think there might have been one earlier item on the list I also might have wanted if it hadn't come up in the middle of the night when I wasn't prepared.

Ashley - That is pretty much the perfect description of this list. You wouldn't think it'd be alive at all, but those new deals and random good deals have somehow revived it. And it's okay, I wouldn't be crushed if the list didn't repeat, but I figure a lot of people would also like another chance at those new items that got thrown in.

Marvelissa - I think there's some sort of hierarchy with MMAO and which items get offered the most. I did get Midnight Hollow on MMAO, but it was never offered until after I bought Aurora Skies. I'd constantly get offers for Aurura Skies and Lucky Palms before (and still do for Lucky Palms). I got MH Gold for around 63% during the 2x sale, and I remember angeljess26 posting that she got it for 70% (belated congratulations, since I forgot to say it earlier!).

I lost track of time watching Game of Thrones and missed Grandpas Grove. I would have had just enough points to get it. Oh well, more points for MMAO!

Heh, well I hope you get an offer like that then. I don't actually have the SP on hand right now, so I'm kind of glad it was too low a percentage for me. If it was a higher percentage I would've been really tempted to buy SPs for it.

Frye - I do faintly remember being offered it a while back, but it's uncommon enough that I'd almost forgotten it could be offered. I agree about the hierarchy - also, I think some items are "linked" to others, i.e. Loud Fast Clash and FRCB/WT stuff often comes up together, so does beach/summery stuff, etc, but that's another matter. I get lots of Lucky Palms offers - think I got at least one today, for Gold, a decent percentage too (67%) but LP, while nice, isn't at the top of my list to get and anyway I already have the Casino.
I actually think I'd prefer standard MH, looking at the Gold stuff more closely... (I would probably end up just buying the Toy Machine separately if I got Standard) but 42% is still too low a percentage for me right now, unfortunately. And the two items it was offered with, It’s Game Time! and Old Skool Lowrider, are not things I'm interested in, so it's more like a 25% discount.
Lunar Lakes also doesn't like showing up, which is annoying, and odd considering it's older than LP. But there's just Lunar Lakes, no Gold/Standard, so that might have something to do with it.

Congratulations. :) I would certainly get Gold if the deal was good enough - but I've realized I'd be fine with Standard.

The only problem with this thought is roaring heights is not available for buying with simpoints only actual money (either here, in a store or on other gaming sites).
As of April 24th 2015 I joined the own the store club. Thank you to those who helped in my journey.

Mmmm-hmmm. Ended up with Luxury Resort Attire, Fanciful Fashions, Date Night, Futureshock Kitchen, February 2011, and a bunch of individual things for around 1100 SPs, all 66% - 72% off. My CYS on several sets is way down, too. Loving MMAO right now.
That sounds like a great bargain. Congratulation. ;)

    @ Tahere
    gratz for Grandpa's Grove ;)

Sorry for the people who missed it.
@ Frye: oh...that's an awful way of missing. So sorry. Good luck next time.

MMAO offered me Sunlit Tides Gold + Luxus Kidswear for 66% discount. I decided against it (but it was hard) as I just bought LP standard yesterday and ST is not really on my wishlist. After that it offered me ST standard for 42% discount.

However, got 3 offers between 75% and 87 % which I took. In total 11 items. 3 items from Steampunk: The Return. Now 2 items from that set are left. I thought I get the set for free, but still is 60 simpoints. Well, let's see if MMAO offers the last 2 items or if the set goes on sale. :-)

I am stubbornly waiting for Steampunk: The Return to be free. I also only have 2 items left in the set after getting the other 3 through MMAO, but my remaining CYS is 80. MMAO constantly offers me the full set (no CYS) but hasn't offered the remaining two items yet. So I'm with you in hoping for a sale - or the last 2 items in a cheap MMAO bundle. :)
