Do you have a mod that allows toddlers to climb a ladder?
That's definitely a mod. Toddlers lack this animation in the vanilla game code. Which is exactly why the toddler's skeleton stretched as they climbed up the ladder.
I have no mod's. None at all. this happened right after I taught the toddler to walk. I then had the mother grab a book to read to the toddler and instead of her carrying the toddler, the toddler climbed the ladder. Again, I have NO mods or CC
It looks to me like you have some bad cc, have you taken the child into CAS and changed his outfit? The gangly arms and legs are what speaks to me of bad cc. Something intended for another age group, not for a toddler. But that doesn't answer why he is climbing the ladder. If you have no cc (I assume you've never downloaded anything from the Exchange) and no mods, you have one bad bug going there.
It's not a mod. I have the same thing. I think toddlers are not SUPPOSED to be able to use the ladders, but in some situations it makes them do it. Because there is no animation for them using it, it stretches them to use an adult animation.
If I direct a toddler to do something on a different floor, they just sit at the ladder and cry. But sometimes if they have an autonomous action (play with a toy thats on another floor) they climb it themselves.
