What'd you think about the story/mystery?
Personally, I wish the story was longer and had more to it.
EDIT: Forgot to add just a "I liked it option", so if you want to say that, then just choose "It was okay" and say you liked it. Sorry about that guys

I had fun playing it for sure, but like you I wish it was a bit more involved in terms of completing it. I started last night and finished today. I know it’s a game pack so budget is what it is, but for what I paid for I had fun!
I wish there was more new gameplay during the story. The end was a LOT of fun though lol.
SimmerJay CAS Challenge! ✨
Hmm... maybe it's because I didn't vote. See if you can vote now, cause now I'm starting to see some results.
My feelings exactly. Wish there was a "Liked it and had a good time" option.
Dang, should've added that XD
What I said was that I haven't solved it yet. (Option 1) but I LOVE it.
There is no option for me and my situation. lol.
The world is lacking a few things, but that's what the Gallery, your building skills and imagination are for. I may build a gym on that vacant home lot across the street from the bar and library. I might also build some sort of community lot on one of the vacant lots in Shady Acres.
The world is not a place a Sim would normally visit, but I like that. It means if my Sim wants to do anything, they will have to travel to do it. I do that IRL, so it's not as big of a deal as others make it out to be.
Race Against the Clock: Can your elder sim turn back the clock before their time runs out?
Take care all!

As for the story, it is a little short and somewhat repetitive.
But, when comparing it to some of the point and click adventure games I play, it actually took me longer to solve Strangerville than any of those games. Of course, my Sim did/had to do other stuff in between. So it's a bit hard to compare.
When I look at it in terms of price/enjoyment, StrangerVille is definitely a bargain - I may have paid twice as much for it as I would for a regular mystery solving game, I do get a mystery and in addition get a lot of really cool things for my game in general, some of which I'll get a lot of use out (that laptop for example). And this pack has a higher replay value because with different Sims, different backstory, the story does become a little different, rather than doing exactly the same all over again which you would in a simple point and click adventure.
In comparison to other game packs - and I think Jungle Adventure compares best - it's very similar, the replay value is relatively low in both, but it does come with great CAS/BB assets and amazing worlds.
However, I am having a lot of fun playing with the adventurer sim I created to play through the Strangerville storyline. She's now headed off to explore the jungle of Selvadorada :)
I love the town, I love the story, I love that we get the Military career back.
I only voted disappointed because after solving the mystery you're left with really ugly build buy items
I have some other gripes (mostly with the watred-down sparring), but overall I'm closer to "absolutely loved it" than to "it was okay".
Something wicked this way comes!
I don't use MCCC.
