No chapter this week because my husband has been working from home all week, so I haven't been able to get at the PC (this sims story is on my old PC) and also I've been busy making a jacket to wear at a wedding. Which was today, and great! (the wedding, that is, though the jacket was pretty good too)
I found an old challenge on ModtheSims where you start with a single dad and his five kids - two teens, one child, one toddler, and one age choice is up to you. The story is that he lost his wife to an illness that drained the bank account and now he has only two thousand simoleans after buying either an empty lot or a house (depending on how challenging you want to play).
Created in CAS, my family had 21k. So I built a small two bedroom, two bath house and furnished it until they only had 2k left. It was a relatively easy play. So now I'm playing it so they have only 2k after buying an empty lot. Maybe next time I'll play that 2k has to buy the empty lot as well.

I miss you all @ADWilson, @Mmdrgntobldrgn, @SamelaRita. Hope you are healthy and happy. I took a long walk down memory lane and revisited old renos and stories. I realized that I hadn't done all of them, so I'm going to try the castle one, maybe for a second time, and maybe I never attempted it. Smile often.

How are you doing? There's been a lot to process after my mother's death last year, and I just haven't had time to get back here so far, but that doesn't mean I haven't missed you all. Loved your renovacy so far.
