That's awesome! I re-use mine by not carving them til the day of Halloween, then not putting a flame in them but using a light instead, so I can bake them when the night is over, and have some really good pumpkin puree to do things with or freeze for Thanksgiving pies. They say I'd skin a flea for its tallow.

I think you *might* be more squeamish than I am. I'm super squeamish about spiders, but other than that...I can dismember a carcass, can and have cleaned up other people's vomit (that one's hard), and had to do some gross jobs and just get on with it. I can be really "hard-nosed" when the situation calls for it. Are you squeamish?

@DeKay if by "sandals" you mean flip flops/chanclas, I wear them all summer wherever I go, and as inside-shoes at home year-round though sometimes it's cold enough that I wish I could find something like Tabi /split toe socks in my size. If anyone knows where I can get Men's 11 Tabi socks, send me a link!

You, because I don't like smoke of any kind, gives my allergic, sensitive lungs issues. But I do think there must be something primal in a desire to feel the heat and light from fire, on our skin. It feels nourishing somehow.

You probably. I haven't done a lot of generations ever. I think the furthest I ever got was maybe 5 or 6 and that was only from playing with short lifespans and not getting much involved with them as individuals.
