Yes! I agree, River is such a genuinely good guy, and he treats Dallas so well! It's interesting how the game forces situations on us players sometimes. River was never meant to be a main character in my gameplay, but now he has a starring role because he naturally cares so much about Dallas. There may or may not be some love in the air between the two in the near future, but for now, they are the best of friends! I'll have to catch myself up on your story. I've read some of your replies to others, specifically regarding backstories, and I would love to read those if you choose to come out with them for your characters. I'm looking forward to catching myself up!
I finally made my Chewie to add on for my Smuggler Cousins Household.
And I updated my Skywalker Household a bit.
They are revised along with their homes in the Gallery under SEREFRAS if any simmer likes SIFI fun.
So prom didn't work for some reason. I got the notification that it was happening, thought I clicked the tick button... nothing. Tried sending all the teens (Artemis and Apollo are also now teens) to the auditorium, it was all decorated for prom but no-one was there. Ugh. I know some people have had prom glitches in the past, but the past two worked fine for me. Maybe it was because the Romance Festival was on, or because there was a little "Friends Hangout" event happening in the house, and normally you can't travel during those.
Whoa, everyone is being mean! Too bad the first locals your sims ran into were one of the close-minded families. Then again, the whole conversation about Mikkel confused me terribly, too... not that it isn't to be expected, of course. Now I'm very, very curious about Mikkel's alien heritage, their culture, how fast their kids are expected to grow and grasp adult concepts... that sort of thing :P (But I have a sneaking suspicion that Mikkel might just like being called a he because everyone else in the family is. It might not be like that, of course, but the possibility is there.)
The bush needs to be inside or else it will freeze!
Thanks, I understand now. Your Sims mentioned that but for some reason I didn't believe them. I hadn’t realized that that plant freezing was possible.
Thanks for your comments about my legacy as well! You're quite right that loving someone won't suddenly make them psychic. Hopefully, the next time Adelise or Asher makes a mistake, there will be clear communication, no grudge sentiments, and no drama.

Thanks again for including a link to your story. I've read the introduction, the concept and the options on where to start. It looks like the kind of story one should start from the beginning to understand instead of jumping into the deep end. Good way to get lost...or drown. When I have a large block of free time, that's exactly what I will do. I'd like to binge read a few other stories here as well. So it will take a bit of time before I can. I hope you understand.
Thank you! I definitely understand--you don't have to read my legacy at all. It'll probably be easier to understand if you start at the beginning, but the quality of the earlier chapters is different from the quality of the later chapters... The legacy as a whole is also quite long, so I don't want anyone to feel pressured to read all of it. I get that everyone is busy with their games and their lives, so I appreciate any time anyone spends looking at my stuff.
Oh dear, it looks like Eliza is getting into trouble. I agree that she and Thomas are cute together! I just hope they figure out their relationship properly though, without hurting their spouses.

The detail about Mikkel liking Abigail's ears because it seems like something they have in common is precious, but then it goes so poorly. I don't know why the neighbors can't just let Mikkel have his fun and wear what he wants. Even if he were older their attitude would still be wrong, but picking on a child seems particularly evil.
I looked through your thread. Dallas and Keaton aged up really well. Even though you don't advertise yourself as having SimLit, you definitely have interesting storylines going on (especially that bit with Wade and Dina--I felt for Darla).

They're basically boring, for one, but in this case they still had studies to finish before the beginning of their second term. Every minute counts. But you're right, travel during an Event is not allowed.
I'm getting really close to finishing up the next Under The Tartosan Sun. I'm writing the final scene and I will finish it up after I get a bite to eat. This has been an adventure to say the least.🤣 But in a way losing that work has been a blessing in disguise. I made some changes and I'm happier with the final product. Not that I wasn't before, just more so now.😁
I have a lot of catching up to do when I'm finished.
Keaton grew up so handsome! Seems like he had a great birthday party. Also side note, I love how cozy their kitchen looks, the little touches like the cross-stitch and child drawings make it feel truly like home

I was a bit uncertain whether I should start sharing my screenshots on the forums, but my friend convinced me it would be fun. Don't regret it the slightest bit! Glad to hear you would like to know the backstory of my sims, I'm already thinking on how to implement it in my game
Thank you for commenting on my post, I always enjoy reading what you have to say Yeah, that was quite a rude encounter! Mikkel's race has one neutral gender, by human standards it looks more masculine rather then feminine (not obvious when they're children), but it's still not male per se. And you're right, Mikkel may prefer the he/him pronouns because everyone else in the family has them! As for everything else, I might elaborate later, for now I'll just say that Mikkel is a bit more mature then some may think... and maybe not even just a bit. That been said, he enjoys his childhood.

Looking at Owen with absolute adoration, he gently placed his palm on Owen's hand. And this might be the nicest gesture you made towards me ever since we got here, Owen sadly thought. Because once again, it was all about Mikkel. Everything was about Mikkel. It almost seemed as if Owen's feelings for Mikkel dictated how Ianto and Jack will feel about him. If he wanted them to love him, he had to love Mikkel. But he couldn't.
"What can I say, I'm a nice guy," Owen said half-sarcastically, half-hopefully.
Ianto didn't reply with anything, but the look on his face was all Owen needed to push the depressing thoughts away and pretend, at least for now, that everything is fine. That darn puppy-eyed look that got them in the mess one may call a relationship.

So, I couldn’t stop myself and I peaked into your latest update even though that means I’m skipping ahead a bit from where I left off in your story, but oh my gosh! First off, Mikkel always brings a smile to my face. You really hit the jackpot when you created such an adorable character (at least aesthetically). Second, that moment between Owen and Ianto was so precious! I’m really looking forward to future updates!

Actually, I looked up about pre prom parties and they usually happen if your Sim has a number of friends. My Sims don’t have a huge number of friends outside the family, so maybe that’s why.

That is interesting to know. Erik has many friends, if you count his fans, et al. Could be why he's always asked to the pre-party.
I could always stage one myself, I guess! Erytheia started a teen club so I could invite them all over and put them in their formal gear. Artemis and Apollo aren’t part of the club (no space currently) but since they’re part of the household they can take part anyway.
