The layout and design of the Science of Animals looks great! @leashahampton Very nice furnishing of the various areas of the room! The corner study desk nook looks great! Veronica will enjoy sitting at the desk table using the computer, with her awards received proudly placed on the wall and in the glass cabinets. Very nice work space lab nook. It looks great how the tools, books, wall knives and detergents are placed there, that she can use whilst working on the differences between fish and crustraceans. Very nice sofa seat sitting area for her to relax and read a book, or enjoy taking a break from work and having a drink. The coffee machine, hot chocolate items, fruit bowl, and mugs rack are great touches there The filing cabinets there look great. The brick wall texture gives a great feel and look to the room. The snow globes are a nice touch on the shelving and the mounted fish look great on the wall.
The study room is a very nice room for Veronica to enjoy doing her work in!
I hope we will get good news about your brother @Cbear13 Please try not to stress too much (I know it is hard but you need to take care of you because of your back pain). Best wishes
It is an encouraging sign that your brother has improved a little @Cbear13
I hope that each hour and day helps with the healing process from the bad virus.
@leashahampton Great industrial looking study. I love the idea with the workroom! And you even managed to give her a bar (would love to have that in my real life office, but I would properly never do any work )
@Cbear13 Glad to hear that he's improving, even if they don't know what kind of virus he has.

Notes:
-The fishbowl placed on the chest has been tested and both items seem to work as normal, the bowl does sink into the chest a bit though.
-The beam in between the pillars are made by shelves linked together, these do therefore not work as shelves, but are to create a beam structure.
- Paintings are made by me
The African animal theme of Serengeti Study looks very nice ! @Laebeth Very nice orange, yellow and black colour scheme of the room! It looks very nice how the curtained wall divides off areas of the room. Very nice study desks area of the room! It is nice that that desks are placed face to face. Veronica will enjoy sitting at the desk using the computer to do her very work, or sitting there studying using a book. The animal print floor rug looks great! The globes are a nice study room touch. The pictures of the giraffes and rosellas on the walls look great! The pink flamingos, rooster, fish banner, fish bowl and giraffes look great in the room! Very nice fireplace nook to keep the room warm with the fire. The bookcases look great placed either sides to create the nook. The big spider and cobwebs on the wall look scary though! The plants are nice touches in the room. Nice drinks corner nook, for Veronica to enjoy having a drink when taking a break from work and studies. The mugs rack, teabags, teapot, keg and teapots wall cabinet look great there. She will enjoy resting on the sofa having a cup of coffee. The plants and books are a nice touch on the table beside the sofa. It is nice that her diploma is proudly placed on the wall.
It is a very nice animal themed study!
@coolsim9999999: I really like the way you divided the room into land, sea and sky! It's a really creative and colorful room!
@okester: Great study! You've included so many cute details, but the room still feels clean and orderly. Great idea to put a half-wall behind the sofa, to create separate areas!
@MyFavoritedesign: Your room is really pretty! I love the giant fish wall art and the bats that seem to be hovering...
@StangMix2: Your study looks great! I really like your color scheme and your use of cactuses. (Cacti?)
@kimartist: Your room is adorable! I love the bright colors you've used and the way you've created several distinct areas--it really seems to expand the space!
@leashahampton: Your room is awesome! It could almost double as a studio apartment. I like the way you've given her a separate lab area, too.
@Laebeth: Your room is absolutely beautiful! I love the sunset color scheme and the way you've divided the room with curtains. Looks like a wonderful place to work.
Hey everyone, I thought it was said that you could incorporate sim paintings by reference in the challenge rooms as it was not CC. Did I remember that right?
@lsnishi yes you can as long as they dont flag the room as cc, I remember there was a glitch a while ago that alot of them were tagging the rooms cc not sure if that problem still exists
@Cbear13 The problem still exist. It originally flagged mine as CC. Easy fix though. I took the paintings out and saved the room to the library. Then i started a new save game, placed the room and redid the paintings. Then it didn't have the CC tag.
Oh sigh @Laebeth thanks I used them alot in my builds a long time ago but when it started flagging as cc I got frustrated with it and just stopped using them. I wish they would fix it as I think they add a lot more uniqueness to decorating other than people having the same ones to use. Though I guess using sim painted gives more options than whats in the build items. I like when people do portraits of their sims or sim family paintings by reference.
@Cbear13 I've re-added the pictures. They showed up when I looked at the forum from a PC but not when I looked from my phone, which is a little weird... Hope it works correctly this time
@lsnishi Well, it is possible to get around it. Maybe you can just do a quick test? Have your painter Sim do a painting by reference, put it in a room (any room) and just click the upload room and see if it's tagged?
Like I said there is a pretty easy fix, as I got it sorted by just starting a new save game I think some saves just bug out, but others don't.
It's completely up to you though! If it's too much hassle then just leave it I'm sure your room will look awesome either way!
Is it just me or did the QC Challenge Lot thread disappear? I saw there were comments on it made over the last day, but when I click to see the comments it says "Comment not found." Then I couldn't find the thread....
@lsnishi@steskens Yeah, I have the same issue. We talked about it earlier today in the QC monthly thread as I think it was @chips46 who discovered it was down... that's terrible though. I am sure @Cbear13 is aware of it and trying to fix it. I'm guessing it maybe got taken down by mistake?
Edit: I still have the current challenge post open in a separate tab, which I can still see.. but only until i refresh the page. then it will be broken
