Yay what a fun month! I feel like all the stories this month were really close and it was especially hard to decide
Congrats to @Pegasus143 and @CathyTea for this amazing achievement too, 12 months in row wow! And Congrats to @thymeless was it your first month to participate? Anyway I felt like you put so much effort into the World building in your story definitely well deserved
Also Congrats again to all other partcipants!
I don't think I will participate this month the theme is not quite my style but I wish the best of luck to all of you
@Julyvee94 it was my first time entering, yes It definitely makes me glad I spent so long attempting to make a ghost ship, I can say that. It looks pretty rubbish in game, but as a set it was just what I needed!
Before announcing the winners for July I'd like to share something special. After twelve months of these challenges there are two people who I want to honor for what I think is a wonderful achievement. These two people participated every single month for the first year. That's right a twelve month streak of entering these challenges!
So I made a little award for them! I thought about naming it the PegasusTea award or something like that. But really I wasn't sure what to name it; I decided on "dedicated creativity" because I figure it does take some dedication to make the time every month to participate.
Anyway I just wanted to say congratulations to @Pegasus143 and @CathyTea ! Also thank you for your dedication to these challenges!
In 2nd Place is "Maybe We Can Be Lonely Together" by @Thymeless

Congratulations once again to all the winners and to everyone for another great month. Thank you all for participating!
OH HOLEY MOLEY .. I cannot believe that! The stories were awesome .. I did not think I had much of a chance (I knew people were liking my story but did not think it was that much). TY everyone who voted. Great job on all those who work so hard on their stories. I enjoyed reading them all! AND a special congrats to @Pegasus143 and @CathyTea ... that is quite an accomplishment!
Thank you so much for the award! It means a lot to me. Congrats to @CathyTea and everyone else who's entered a story into this as well. Some of the themes that we've had have definitely been harder than others, but they've all been super fun. I always look forward to the next month's stories.
Yay! Congrats, @Pegasus143 ! And thank you so much for acknowledging this, @Carewren123 ! It's so thoughtful of you!
I bet that @Pegasus143 feels the way I do: that we gained so much as writers and Simmers by participating each month, and that we feel so grateful for the opportunity to do so!
Wonderful July stories! Congratulations to the winners. And extra congrats to @CathyTea and @Pegasus143 for your 12 months of stories!!
I really enjoyed being part of the reading and voting this month as it was my first time doing so! It was really nice to read such different and creative stories!
I thought it might be fun to share a few stats with everyone about our first twelve months of short story challenges.
59... that is the number of different people who have participated. I wish I had kept track of this better before now, so that I could have welcomed each newcomer to the challenge. I know we said a warm welcome to most new participants, but I'm going to keep a list now so hopefully will never miss anyone again.
31... Is the number of people who participated in more than one month. That means more than half the participants returned for more fun.
10... Is the number of people who participated in at least FIVE months.
163... Is the total number of stories that were submitted to this thread in these first twelve months. That's an average of nearly 14 stories per month.
I'm proud of our little part of this community. You're a great group of people. And I look forward to many more amazing stories in the future! Thanks to each of you for being a part of this!
I've participated in 10 months straight! So close to a full year!
I love short stories, the creative challenge of coming up with ideas for the different themes each month really keeps me on my toes! (Still don't know what I'm going to do this month yet!)
Congratulations to all the winners! Well deserved for treating us to wonderful stories.
And wow, Cathy and Pegasus, for entering the challenge 12 months in a row. Such an achievement!
And thank you for sharing those stats @Carewren123 It's fun to see and I love participating whenever I find the change (or an idea for a short story lol) Thank you for making this possible.
Amazing community!! And even with real life, work, school, kids, projects etc finding time to share all of these stories with the community!! I'm in awe.
Here's my submission for the month: Summer Reading.
I finally had time to write and enter this month. It can be read as a standalone, but the story is connected to my reboot and one of my reoccurring characters - Gage Briody. I hope you enjoy!
Hello, everyone!
Nice stories so far!
This month I won't be able to write a story again - too busy.
So again - I'm not a writer, I'm a reader.
In the end I've started moving my Bears story on YouTube: https://youtu.be/qVtOeNN7vO8
It was not easy for me to make the decision.
I'd like to know your opinion about the video (to make next videos better):
Is it easy to read?
Aren't the letters too big?
Isn't the text speed too high sometimes?
How about using colored letters - are they easy to read?
I'll be thankful to see your feedback here.
Sorry for off top, but I regard you all as my friends, so I decided to ask you for help here.
