    So, I just came because there are NEW NEWS! A new expansion pack is about to roll out as EA is inviting The Sims' fans to test "something", & there is a high-chance the "something" could be a new expansion pack! :)

    (No, they are not moving on The Sims 4 and inviting people to test The Sims 5, & yes I have proof they said it is a test on The Sims 4 product :/)

      Sorry but I don't think the next EP would be ready enough for being tested in a while yet. They would announce it and hype it first when it's close to geing finished, like GTW, and we haven't had any such announcements.
      Maybe a GP?

      I think it will be something that they are announcing at gamescom, the last 'playtest' was before GTW came out but that was months after it had been announced. I think it's something BIG

      Yeah I agree. An EP they would just announce and release like they have already done. Why would they need play testing for that? Of course, you just never know. Interesting though. Hopefully we will find out soon.

      Maybe EA Vancouver is better set up for this at the moment than EA in the U.S. for some reason? It's a pretty big EA campus.

      Isn't EA in the U.S. the headquarters though? Wouldn't it arguably be bigger/more accommodating?

      I thought they had headquarters all over the world lol.....but maybe I'm wrong.

      Bigger, perhaps, but that doesn't mean space for such events isn't already booked, under renovation, having computers upgraded, etc. And there are 1,300 EA employees at the Vancouver campus - it's huge.

      Oh. I thought the one in California was like the main headquarters. Where like all the decisions are made and stuff and like where the CEO works at.

      2 things:

      1st- They won't playtest a small content! It is a world why would they test a world?

      2nd- If they want to test something they would test it before it's release date, if it is the time it is released it isn't a test anyone is having it so it isn't a playtest anymore

      @Farrousy, you might want to edit your topic title to be more accurate. Nothing in the announcement says that what's being tested is an EP; it could just as easily be patched-in content.
