Hello @QueenNazu It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is nice that you have been playing the sims since the original Sims 1. You would have spent many fun and enjoyable hours simming over the time! I hope that you will enjoy meeting and chatting with fellow simmers on the forum threads, and enjoy posting about your simming experiences.
These are some links to guides to the expansion packs, game packs and stuff packs . They explain about the features and activities that come with packs, as well as pictures of the build/buy mode items and the CAS items. They may help you to decide which pack you would like to have for your game.
Hi! I'm newish, but also not new at all. I started with TS1, stopped for a while for school and college, really, really enjoyed TS2, played TS3 a lot but it never felt like home, even with most of the expacs and mods (boy, how I hated having to update a million mods just to make the game mostly enjoyable), and I'm here again, now with a house full of kids, hoping TS4 and I can be friends.
I plan on scouring the forums for good info on CC, gameplay, and mods, and I hope to have a lot of fun playing more of The Sims!

Hi! I joined the forums today after being a long time lurker. I plan on doing some modelling competitions and the like
Can't wait to meet new people!

Hello, hello! I've been on these forums for a little bit just lurking mostly for posts about in game bugs, and just decided maybe I should start posting, lol.
Anyhow, I've started playing TS1 on a friend's computer, and loved it ever since. When I finally got my own laptop, Sims 2 had just came out, and I immediately bought it. I loved the idea of creating things, and since I'm a fan of a lot of people and video game characters, I thought it would be neat to make my versions of them in the Sims games!

It is nice that you first started simming by playing the original sims 1 on your friend's computer and then that led you onto playing Sims 2 when you got your own laptop. Creating sims is an enjoyable part of simming! It is fun creating sims versions of family members, friends, characters or celebrities! It is enjoyable deciding on what type of clothing that they will wear for each category. It is nice then playing the sims in our games.
Happy simming!
It all started with Sims 1, which I got addicted to a few years ago.
After that, I gave Sims 4 a try. At first I wasn't really into it, and the gameplay got really boring.
The Sims 2 came into my life at the beginning of this year. I was so into it and I am still a proud fan of The Sims 2.
Right now, I am coming back to my Sims 4 days by giving it another chance.
I also started my youtube channel called JennySimmer, feel free to check it out!
Thank you @rosemow for making this awesome thread. It has really introduced me to the Simming community.
Hello my name is Janet, and I really love the sims 4, started playing 2014 with the sims 3. Love the introduction of the emotions compared to the sims 3, I tend to care more about the storyline of my sims with it. Love CAS and building, I have a YouTube channel called simette ( temporarily stopped due to equipment issues, will be bk on ), errmm... What else.... Currently playing with my sim Isabella Romero she just turned an elder, but bk in her youth she was very promiscuous lol, trying to play a family through the generations which I NEVER do. That's me! (think I heard somewhere u can't say ur age? Or did I make that up) I'm from London

Hello @sugasweet999 It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is nice that you started simming in 2014 by playing sims 3 and now are playing sims 4. Creating sims and building homes or venues are special and fun parts of simming! They are enjoyable ways of expressing our creativity whilst playing the game. I hope that your legacy family progresses well. It is nice seeing the new generations in the family and watching them grow up in the game.

Hi everyone! Just started using the forum and, well, I'm struggling to find the option to start my own discussion... Am I missing something...? I am able to comment on other discussions but I've scanned all buttons on all areas of the page(s) and no option to start new discussion...? Help!

Hello @timefeeler It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
Usually there is a blue new discussion button at the top right side of the screen. New discussion threads may have been restricted for new members. You may not be able to start a new thread until you become a full member.
You need to have 50 points and 30 posts before you can become a full member and can then post pictures, have a signature, post links and change your profile picture. This thread explains about it. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/770609/member-or-new-member-everything-you-need-to-know
If you have a game issue, you can post it on another thread that another simmer has already started, and there will be simmers that will help you with your issue.
Happy simming!
Hey @rosemow - thank you! and nice to meet you too
Yea, the new discussion button is definitely not there so I assume that you are right and I'll have to become a full member before I can do that, so I guess I better get started, ha ha!

Hi! I'm Misha (Mih-Shuh, Girl), 22, College student. I first got interested in Sims when I was at a friend's house and she showed me Sims 2 on her computer. I, however did not get my own copy of Sims until Sims 3 came out. I LOVE Sims and play it way more than I should! I'm also very friendly and easy to talk to so don't be shy, that more my job! :P

Hello @HyprActvSqrl324 It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is nice that a friend first introduced you to simming by showing you sims 2 on her computer, and then that led to later on buying sims 3 to play yourself. Simming is fun! I hope that your college studies are going well.
I hope that you will enjoy meeting and chatting with fellow simmers on the forum threads, and learn new helpful tips about playing the game.

Hello! My name's Melissa but for some reason I like the nickname "Kingtner" (I just made it using random words and letters)
I've been reading a lot of discussions on here but never registered, and finally, after some time, I've decided to join
My family is American, but I was born (and I live) in a non-English-speaking country, so I'm sorry if something I type doesn't make sense. Please, feel free to correct my mistakes!
I've loved the Sims since I got The Sims 3, like five or six years ago. I've played for a long time. Then I got The Sims 2, and played a lot, too. When my friend (she has always been obsessed with The Sims) told me that The Sims 4 was going to get released, I got very excited. I couldn't afford it until recently. My friend pre-ordered the game, so she let me play sometimes.
My favorite thing about The Sims is the process of creating a Sim. I love creating characters in videogames and developing their personalities (Sadly, not many of them have much of a "development" now...), and I adore how The Sims allow me to do that. But I must say... I am very, very bad at building houses haha
Well... I hope my text wasn't too long, sometimes I type too much. I hope to participate more in this forum. The community seems very nice!

Hello @Kingtner It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums! It is great that you have joined the forums and started posting!
It is nice that you started simming by playing Sims 3 then that led you onto also enjoying playing Sims 2. It was kind of your friend to let you play her sims 4 until you could purchase your own copy . You would enjoy talking about The Sims and sharing simming experiences with each other. Creating sims and then playing them in the game are very fun and enjoyable parts of simming! It is fun seeing how they live their sims lives and watch them age through the game.

Hello everyone. I am Cuddles. Though I am not new to the sims or forums in general, I am new to these forums and have only recently purchased the sims 4.
I've been playing the sims since sims 2 when I was 8 years old and now I'm in college. I think of the sims as a great way to take a break from real life and playing a simulation of it instead. I play the sims mainly because of the way it has quick satisfaction. I love how you can create a sim, marry them off, have them pass on their genes, and die within just a day.
