I mighty try it, and btw, i'm not THAT Young, i'm 14 by now XD

    14 is young :p

Well I see how it is... That means I was 2 when I started playing the sims.

I keep seeing stuff about aliens and police, but what is that thing to the far left under the grim reaper in the new render? Has that always been there? Have I been out of CAS that long? Haha

It's a lama and it has always been a Sims mascot. You can get that outfit for your Sims as part of the sports career.

I was in High School when TS1 came out. Still have it and the original box. Might have to install and give it another go just for fun. I have all the other Sims on there, why not the one that started it all? <3 My Sims.

I started playing with the Sims 1. I remember going into my brother's room and seeing him playing it. I watched him play for a while, bemused by the fact that he was just in a house that you could interact with, cook meals, watch tv. It seemed like a strange game at the time. No weapons, no bad guys to kill. I asked my brother what the aim of the game was since every game i'd known up until then was an rpg. He said 'there isn't one really, you just do what you want' and I remember thinking how much that concept appealed to me.

I remember he lost interest very soon and I started playing it instead. I became hooked. I guess it would make me about 9 at the time. I remember thinking how raunchy Hot Date was so I must have been very young to think that o:)

I was beyond excited about the Sims 2 being released. The adverts on TV made it look soooo great. It was a total improvement, 3D graphics, babies and toddlers that were great to interact with. When ownable cars were added in Night Life I was so happy. As the game went on every single expansion was on point. It was a perfect sequal.

3 & 4 I can take or leave at the moment. I recognise both have some good points (3 more so than 4) but I don't have a big affection for them.
I'm hoping I will develop an attachement to 4 when new things are added though.

Excited to see what we get this week. Hopefully we'll hear news about the first expansion too.

I'm so pleased we're getting Family Trees. Can't wait to pull up my Legacy Challenge Family (which I've put on hold for various reasons) and see how it does. :)

Oh and hoping the bar glitch gets fixed in this patch. I'm refreshing for patch notes like a mad-woman.
