Once the sim knows she is pregnant the gender of the child is already set (you can verify this by using MasterController mod and checking the population demographics). When to eat the watermelon or apple is after they are nauseous and up until they get the realization they are pregnant. If your sim has the new reward of not getting nauseous then you have to guess when to start but it only takes one fruit. If all else fails use MasterController mod to change the gender of any unborn babies in town.

@Blacksand Do I at least get a B+ grade for effort.I just checked Felicia Lin's personality and even though she is a runaway outlaw criminal(It is her bio) her personality does not match.She is a softie Alice would probably beat her up and steal her lunch money.

I was stuck giving Alice traits like Socially Awkward, Loner and whatnot.
EA just wasn't passionate enough about the plight of truly deranged Sims to include "Pulls Wings Of Flies".
I played Sims 4 instead of Sims 3 and I am doing the Decades Challenge and I am to the 1900's and I can not wait till the next Decade! Everyone should try out the challenge, even on the Sims 3, because you won't want to stop playing.

You are doing a great job of it.And that second picture of Ruthie is adorable.You should edit it on photobucket and make her your avatar.They have really cool edit options. You need an avatar and Ruthie feels abandoned
Updates are fun,today do not have much to report but a few things.First thing is my homes museum is ONE RELIC SHORT OF BEING COMPLETE me and Pearl are still in Egypt and have 7 days left on the trip so it shall be done.Currently doing the get the first second and third relic mission and completed the first 2 and am in the great pyramid now almost through it.Had something new happen to me,usually mummies trigger from events or chests etc my Sim opened a sarcophagus looking for treasure and it came out after me. I killed it though.Also my Sim got his award from the theatre and has the actor trailer.Finished making my hot tub area at my house and designed Pearl a new swimsuit,it is cute.

@CravenLestat I like your idea of using the second picture of Ruthie. Going to have to ask my husband if he would be so kind as to help me set it up. Love your pictures. I just worked on Ruthie's small starter home. Plan on moving her once she has enough money to a bigger house. Ruthie has been making her money by picking flowers.
In my sim couple have just found out there expecting there first child well my male sim has just got a promotion in to level to in the Special Agent career.
