Pictures make your stories much more readable and of course allow you to participate in threads that involve sharing lots. Trying to participate in someone's challenge thread? How can i describe how i got on with plain text, without showing the house mods that enabled me to complete the challenge?
If you're trying to offer gameplay help, well, a picture is worth a thousand words .. it's much easier to explain what is needed with pics.
If you're trying to post on the tech support forum, this is also true, but also you should be able to link whitelisted sites eg. wikipedia to refer people for more information.
Is there not a danger of creating more low quality posts from all the people trying to grind 50 likes than you avoided by being so draconian ?
It took a couple of months to get 50 likes on Kerbal Space Program - and posts without pics, links or shared craft files very rarely get likes. Not to be rude but I think that's a much deeper game, how many people will keep playing long enough to acquire enough likes?
@ZilogMan,
For any New members who what to get their post/point count up, the best thing that I would advise you to do is to find threads that may interest you and join in on them or go to the Off Topic section and join in on some of the word/story games over there. The posts made over in the forum section will go towards your post count whereas the posts made on your wall and the Activity Feed doesn't go towards the total post count. The only thing that you will get if you should make any post over on your wall or Activity Feed will be any Insightfuls, Likes or Awesomes as they will go towards your total points count. Hopefully creating your posts on other threads will also increase your points...

Hello. Welcome to the forums!
There is usually a blue new discussion button at the top right hand side of the screen in the forum sections. But new discussion threads have been restricted for new members. You are unable to start a new thread until you become a full member. This has been brought in as a result of spambots.
You need to have 50 points and 30 posts before you can become a full member and can then post pictures, have a signature, start new threads, edit posts , post links that show up correctly and change your profile picture. This thread explains about it.

You receive a point each time another simmer presses like or awesome or insightful on a post that you have posted. Keep posting on the different threads and sections of the forums and you will soon get the points/posts. The off topic section is a good place to post.

You will soon get the required points and posts if you also post about your simming experiences on threads that you are interested in the thread topics.
Reading and posting on threads in the Stories and Legacies section is great. The simmers there would appreciate your feedback on their Stories and their legacies

Thank you and maybe you can help direct me. I always have problems with the simplest things ... here goes ... Just a simple question really.
It is probably a simpler question than what I let on here. I know how to make animations, textures mesh etc. I am real good with blender and even have started to use the Sims 4 Studio. My question is "how do I get the animations, or clothes or what ever it is I have designed/made uploaded to the recent PC Sims 4 Delux Game that I just purchased, and working or infused into the characters in my Sim.. . Is that possible?
Further to, I have got all the info and video and groups I can possibly find, but as always it seems that the simplest answer to my simplest question[s] is the hardest to find. Really, I just want to know step by step how to get custom animations or clothes or even characters uploaded to Sims 4 PC Delux. That's all I need

These threads explain about poses. They helpfully explain about poses, and they also have download links to the Sims 4 Pose player and the Teleporter mod.

I really need help because I can’t comment on anything or post a question unless I quote somebody. Help?!
Hello @h_lacombe

You need to have 25 points and 15 posts before you can become a full member and can then post pictures, have a signature, start new threads, edit posts , post links that show up correctly and change your profile picture. These thread explains about it.
