I'm a bit concerned about what was said in the broadcast about the retail version.
As far as I understood there won't be an North America retail version but there will be one for Europe.
So what does that mean for all countries that are neither ? Will they get one ? Will it be available trough Origin ?
Problem is that there are many many countries that can't buy simpoint bundles. If they can't buy the bundles they have no chance on getting the world unless it's available on Origin.
Some clarification would be nice

OK, I have 17,400 Sims Points right now. Does this mean I have to buy more in order to download this world ($35.00 Sims Point Gold Bundle?). Or do I just have to wait for 11:00 Mountain Time (MST), and then purchase it with my current Sims Points?
When I look at the Store in US language and Norwegian language the date has changed to 12/13/13. It used to be 12/12/13. Anyone else noticed this?
I'm so excited about this world and I had planned to play this whole evening. Now I'm totally confused as to when the world is released... (Yep, I'm from Norway.)

@ MileHighWrestler: You need to buy one of the available bundles to purchase the world, unfortunately. You can, however, use the points you have to get the venue.
@ swiirl: The site gives you the release date for your time zone. It also says 13/12/13 for me because Im in Australia. You need to calculate the time difference between Norway and Pacific Standard Time to figure out APPROXIMATELY when the world will be available for you. The worlds are usually released at around 10am PST.
Not a good thing, changing the date to Friday the 13th
But perhaps you have found a way so that all the simmers here would be able to get this new world, as sometimes I think you guys pump out stuff without giving much thought as to what WE the customers want, and no dive sites .. really?
I would suggest fixing all that is broken, before milking us for all you can, also on that note...

I'm usually not this eager to buy stuff from the store, but I've only played my game like 4 times since May and this world really made me wanna play again. Plus I have time to play for once tonight... :?
Great false advertisement. Release on 12/12/2013 - Here's a thoughtful concept,that is if you want to keep majority of your player base, release content on the date and time that you stated you will. If you do make a mistake, address it quickly, otherwise, continue to look like incompetent fools.
1:20 p.m. here in my little part of the world (Eastern Time) and still nothing, and the website still says 12/12/13. Not sure what the delay is but this is the first world I've ever been excited about so I'm anxious to get started.
It's probably taking them some time to get it on the site, it's going to be well worth the wait. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on that car and to make a 20's style farm to upload today

It probably has something to do with there being retail version because Monte Vista and Barnacle Bay are that way to.
