A clothing shop with many mexican patterns on all of the clothes. If you guys are ever having builder's block and can't think of a good pattern, then you can always take a look at this shop and use the designs for anything like rugs, curtains, clothes, etc.

    Oh My!

I admit the CC can be mine, I usually use it very much, though I thought I have left those lots CC free but I forgot to use Custard before uploading, I am very much sorry to give you the trouble to do so, in any case it should be such a little thing I thought I have been much carefull  but I have seen a laptop and a side table, that should be all.

    Hi guys!

Goldysch, the apartment looks great, to see the pics propperly, you should write after the pic link and before the last img code "width=650" (or 700 max) with the quotes, it will fix the size issue.

Zach the chapel, the bar and the clothing shop are amazing, near the bazaar there is a great building, I suppose it is a RH from an EP I don´t have, was it in the beta? it is empty in my version.

    Happy simming

Zach, I am sorry I am taking forever. I got caught up getting King's Point back on track. I should have lots of time to work on Casa Azul this week :)

Also - dive bar! I knew what scene was going to popup on youtube before I even clicked the link. :D

I'm too tired to post a real update until tomorrow, but today I finished a tiny comic bookstore (in the bazaar), half of a mexican food/utensil store (which I'm very proud of, and also is in the bazaar)

Outside of the bazaar, i did some sculpting and I did some nice conceptual work on how my long highways are gonna look.

Problem is, I don't know where to put the port city! In Al Medina, the locations of the towns were in a triangle, but with this world, there's only two planned towns and some ruins. I wanna see how I can make this not so boring.

    No worries, Jucenda.

I'm getting excited even without any pics, Zach. I'm sure it'll all work out somehow and you will have inspiration soon! If I have any ideas/suggestions, I will be sure to share them!

Zach - please do not uninstall your base game. That is giving you false info - here is what Crinrict has reported about that in the ITF bug thread -

    - you need to go here and read this - the third section in regard to your ITF install -

It's nice that we have a Paul Revere here on this forum!

Hahaha - not really Paul Revere - it just goes to show I can even quietly watch a thread and read all the post - and that I like to let my friends know - I've got your back - if I see they are going to do something that might mess up their game. Wouldn't want to see that happen with you making a new world and all - bit I watch the bug threads too just so I am aware what is going around trouble wise so if something comes up in a world test I will know if it is a problem with the world that can be fixed or a problem EA has to fix and I just need to give the creator a heads up. But sometimes I see info like that about ITF and saw you mentioned you had to reinstall the base game - which in turn clicked that memory I had of reading it - so I went back and checked if the situation was still the same - and then posted it to you. I figure you could do with out the headache. hehehe

But Paul Revere I am not. In fact if the British were coming I would be inviting them all in for tea. I would make a lousy revolutionists. hehehe

Also, guys let me say this:

If you find that I edited stuff from your lots in beta versions, it's not because I didn't like them, but it's to provide continuity in the world. Also with EA updates, it's often necessary to change the base structure for routing reasons. Each lot in Al Medina was edited at least ten times (conservatively)

Perfect! That's precisely what I need! The only thing I'd suggest now, is to change the door on the right, just so that it's different from the others. Some landscaping in front might be nice also. I've been using small dark ash trees. And maybe some parking spaces on the side. Using the almost the entire lot is pretty critical. You're like 90 percent finished in that case. If you wanna upload it, then I can make that change when I download it though.

    Hi guys!

Zach, all the changes I saw you have made in the lots I made are perfect, besides you can make whatever you want with them, they are yours at all effects, and obviously you have to make them match with all the other stuff.

goldysch, the apartment building is gorgeous, well done.

I wish you a great Thanksgiving, to all the happy ones that are celebrating the feast, my son is a teacher at West Virginia Uni. and he has got a ten days vacation!!! I am green with envy!

    Have a great time simmers

    Hi all--

I finished an apartment building for this world (if you want to use it). :D

This is the link to it on the exchange. http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7829341
I'm trying to figure out what I used from the 70s, 80s, 90s SP, but I'm not sure since I tried really hard to avoid SPs.

There are extra pics of it here: http://imgur.com/a/1xWgP

@Zach, feel free to change anything you want about it.

Hi! I just wanted to update you: I've been talking to more folks about how it works including paintings/photographs in worlds, and Rflong says she has had trouble getting them to export. So, the Frida Kahlo paintings will go on an exchange-version of Casa Azul. I still want to deck it out in some custom artwork.
I am putting aside building as I put together a set of default recolors on Expansion Pack objects. How would you feel about my recoloring a few buy-mode paintings? Right now, I am recoloring: showtime posters and the Supernatural rug and wall tapestry. Would you like the rabbit holes done as well? I think it would be good if I got all the recolors done here soon so I can get you and anyone who wants it as they build a .package file that will make the recolors show up in game. That way people could decorate with the custom rugs and (if you like) paintings.
If you like the paintings idea, apart from Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, do you have any other ideas?

Sorry for not having any pics uploaded yet and for being absent, guys. Ran into some problems with my computer and I've lost my work. Bummer. :?

Going back to build. Might redo everything if trying to get the same design gets too tedious.

Aminovas, I like your idea of decorating lots with custom rugs and paintings. (:

Zach, you're welcome to change anything you like. I'm sure it would be better for it!

    Hi guys!

Ami, I have been trying with your tut to make some custom paints but it seems my pc skills are not enough to make it, though your tut is very much detailed, I wish I could hung some custom paints at the art museum, I hope Zach, who is better than myself for sure with those matters, can change the ones I put with some of yours. It is great to walk the way in such a talented companny!

    Hi! :)
Junceda, I am sorry you had trouble doing the recolors! I wouldn't worry too much: it will have to be for an exchange-uploaded version as it sounds like paintings don't export.
I should download your museum and check out what art work you used. Buy mode paintings can be replaced with custom imaged, too. What paintings/artists were you wanting to put in them?
