    Speaking of which...

I have a plan for the districts conceptualized:

The main market district (the one we're working on)
A coastal-focused fishing district with wealthy resorts on the beach as well as poorer areas outside the resorts.

Finally, a lost Mayan Island, somewhat modeled after Xcaret.

Glad to hear it! For some reason, I'm slowly gaining progress on the house that I'm making, but right now I just have the front done. Perfectionism sucks haha.

I'll focus on sculpting right now I guess.

I've learned a terrain technique for flat land that I wish I applied in Al Medina, but oh well

Zach, I like where this world is going! Especially the lost island. *excited* Is there going to be a dungeon on the island (the one you've mentioned before)?

I think I'm going to try making Sims for this world. Hmm ... And furniture props too for the bazaar!
    Got a few already.

Can't wait to see the result of that new technique!

I will have to buy IP for sure! it is 50$ here in Spain, I was waiting for a sale but I think I will ask my son who lives in WV to buy it for me at your prices, though he never gets his money back so I am always shy in asking him...

I have not been building much for today... I had my PreXmas feast, all my six grandchildren came to place the Xmas tree and most of all "El Belen" with me.

We in Spain make a sort of miniature of nativity scene in our houses and we would have it placed and lighted till 8 of January, with sheeps and chikhens and the three Magic Kings who bring the presents to kids on 5th to 6th of January night. I love to have all my little grandchildren (six boys from 2 to 6 years old) placing all the figurines on the scene at their own tastes and fancies.

THIS ONE BELOW IS OUR OWN:

So I am now exhausted and full of Xmas sense!!! I will start to send you my best wishes for this time of the year whatever it is what you celebrate on your own!

I love your nativity scene Junceda! And I love all of the pics you have.

Xcaret was the source of my best memories from Mexico.

I got a little bit of building done:

Hope everyone who celebrates the holidays has a very wonderful time with family and friends. :-)

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

Nice work, Jodi, looks great! I made a small house on the 10x10 lot; I figured if I created it on the smallest lot you could move it where ever you needed to, Zach. Sorry, but no pictures uploaded yet. Currently I'm play-testing it.

I noticed that both apartments are set as University roommate apartments and not Late Night NPC Apartments. I'm not sure the NPCs will live in a Uni apartment, will they?

Everything is looking so beautiful and I love it!

    Happy New Year!

The new stuff looks awesome, and that's why I'm going to have some trouble typing this next few words:

I'm going to be moving very soon, and the result will be that I am not going to be near a computer with the right kind of processing power and specs that are needed to build the world.

As of right now, the world is only a third of the way complete, but still yields absolutely great things, including some awesome houses and community lots as well as some terrain painting that I came to like.

I don't want this world to go to waste, as it would let you guys down. You've all helped me so much on this, but I have to pass on the torch to one of you.

I'll be putting the world files on Google Drive so that we can "Open-Source" the world, and hopefully as a group, we can still continue work on the world.

I will still be able to work as an advisor, and I'll stay on the thread.

I'm so sorry that we have to continue in this way, but I feel like this is at least better than the project falling off the face of the earth.

Do any of you think you can become the chief architect of Las Palomas?

    Happy New Year, Zach, everyone!

Oh ... I kinda think it wouldn't be right without you doing it, it's your vision after all and Las Palomas wouldn't be the same. I can wait for you to get a new computer with the needed specs if it means you'll still be team leader.

That being said, if you think it best to do it this way, maybe Nilxis can be the chief architect?? I don't have a lot of CAW experience so ...

Hi Zach, it's so sad to hear that. I could be the one who managed the CAW part if you want, I'd do it happily. I don't know if you just want someone to put the lots or if I would have to enlarge the world and do CAW stuff? I don't mind doing it but since I have my own style I would like you to tell me everything you want exactly because you are the one who knows best about this world and I don't want to transform this world into another Nilxis' world.
Keep in mind that I'm very busy myself with Barcelona so I don't think I could help a lot with the building part. So I could hold the CAW part with your instructions ;)

I really want to see how this project grows so count on me! I hope you can take part again soon :)

Happy New Year to you all!

Yes, it is so very sad.

But, we can do it sure thing - together!!

Thanks so much, Zach, for this CAW project (it's an honour to be able to participate!) and Nilxis, for helping!

Hope you can join in soon, Zach, like Nilxis said!
