I'm not sure if this would be weird, but am I the only one who hopes that your Sims can buy different types of phones and stuff. Like it would be awesome to get my Sim and Iphone, but in sim version. I think they might be adding that though, that one shot with the guy and the chick, he looks like he has a smartphone.

Yeah, that would be a great feature! I'd imagine you'd also be able to CASt them and what not, but maybe not I wonder if you can do other things with it, like use "apps" like the computer interactions.
I just hope that the university building isn't a rabbithole...
If it's got classes in it, it'll more than likely be a rabbithole. As for the dorms, I expect them to work pretty much like the apartment buildings do, except with more public areas so that Sims can get together and form study groups, plus eat in a communal cafeteria. I'm not holding my breath for open restaurants making an appearance though.
It *would* be nice if we get the cafeteria worker again.

Since I'm a boring person, I have decided to take a good look at the campus pic and try to deduce it's location it's based off, for it's theme to see if I can extrapolate any assets for other worlds. The vaulted windows and the churchesque towers suggest to me Medieval Gothic and Victorian Gothic Revival, I was origonally going to suggest Britain or East Coast USA, but upon further investigation, I found that many American Universities use this style. Meh, they don't make this easy.
Additional, is this what the call a tailgate party? (Whether it's staged or not is another question)
Can you tell us what you think are 'rabbit holes'? imo all the buildings in that pic will be.
We can never know exactly about rabbit holes, looking at the supposed cover art from Sims VIP you can see some type of ?teacher? messing with a skeleton, and then you can see some official people in the picture of sims sitting around the ground possibly maybe like the newspaper people or teachers? They may do them like Sims Medieval or the Apartments where they black out classes and possibly you can see your student? Maybe we could do thinks like cheat on tests, do homework during lessons,spitballs, sleeping, drawing mustaches on random sleeping sims I am asking for to much PEPS!

It'll probably serve as an inventory carrier... of some sort. If you'll notice it's a truck parked behind a car, which usually triggers *move in* for college kids. You probably just click it and click "Move in" or something and all your inventory just finds its way into your room. That would be something. It would be cool to see parents helping their sims "move in" all the stuff.. but that would be a long, tedious process and would get old to watch fast. Hell it's even more boring to do-- though the "move in" insanity is always a spectacle. This is why I pack light. If I can't fit it into my Pontiac GrandAM, it's not coming to school w/ me. Though a lot of families (usually from NYC/Buffalo/Albany/LI) usually pack anything *and everything* they can fit into their mini van or Uhaul truck and then kvetch about how long it's taking to move the **** in. HAHA, I love being a local. If I need something I can just run home to get it.

I would like for it to be grocery truck. I rarely take my Sims to the grocery store (I'm lazy, they're lazy) so it would be nice to have them deliver you whatever amount of groceries you order
I'm wondering what all those rabbit holes are for. I can pretty much guess the one with the curved roof is the campus stadium. Maybe they are splitting up the various majors/courses into separate buildings?
So hopeful this turns out well and impresses, I loved university in sims 2 it was one of my favorite parts of the game.

I don't think that's weird at all. When buying expansions, my main focus is what sort of gameplay it will add to my game so I can add more to their stories. In fact, I'm not too pressed about the decor and rabbit hole buildings. To me they add a sort of mystery and they make me feel less creepy about controlling every aspect of my Sims' lives. As long as they add nice new clothes and some fun new gameplay options, I will like the expansion.
